Threw a slightly different alignment on the truck the other day. Since it is so much better through corners, I figured it'd be best to throw a little more camber at it and pull the caster back a smidge.

 

I’m running way more camber than that and surprisingly it drives well.. but eh.. 1.0 negative is something I wish I didn’t have to do, BUT the caster was needed more than camber being close to 0

 

It'd drive well up to around -3.0 camber, more than that and you start loosing contact patch under braking.

Your lifted and I'm not. Probably the reason you had to push camber so far out to get caster where you wanted it. A good reason to get upper arms .


I wonder if those new aluminum upper arms on the 2021 trd pro taco would fit the 1st gen...

 

You flexed on us with that glove box and ash tray light. Then hit us with the working horn and finished with clean brake fluid.

I didn't realize it'd been a week since I was on here. Several pages in this thread and a whole bunch in the general discussion thread I've yet to start on. (I was on a road trip in the 911)

 

I came here to see pictures of road trips.

 

Spent yesterday staring at my ever-evolving-into flat black roof. Thought about ordering monstaliner to take care of it, then looked at the calendar and realized I still don't have a free weekend until end of July. Now I'm just gonna keep staring at it.

Tempted to pull a fast one and take a day off work to coat my roof.

 

Did you ever try just waxing a small section? The last time you talked about it, we said they may have done a single stage paint job on it. It could just be oxidation you're seeing. Wouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes to try a small section.

 

No, I keep forgetting to. Maybe I'll try today after work to see what happens.

 

I hear that oxidation makes you slower anyways so get rid of it

 

If the clear coat was going, it would be fairly obvious I think. You'd see it flaking off. If those other members were right about black being single stage then you should be able to salvage it without taking up too much of your time.

Well today at big box I scored some Social Credítz and grabbed a cart from the outskirts and brought it in. Didn’t take it back out to the lot so +2 with a slight -.375 deduction for using a Plastic Bag.

Yeah. The cart fetcher is a cool guy. I like to keep him in a job so there is that aspect.
