Well??????

I have the Stage 1 kit sitting in my garage and I'm deciding if I want to go for it and put 295/70r18's or just sell it and go with 275's on stock suspension...

I just don't need the lift and I tow a camper sometimes. Worried about a saggy ass, even with 1.5" toytec shackles.

It looks good but almost looks too high for my taste.

how is on road ride campares to bilstien 6612 at 1.9 setting? Anyone know?

 

Thanks, Now Im debating on getting some Methods or Fuel Vectors, or just leave the stock wheels. It rides great now, but i don't wanna take a chance on aftermarket wheels and end up with vibration.....

 

me to i hate 20 inch wheels and small tires

 

BBS Pros are pricey, but sure would look nice on your truck...I made the switch on mine.

 

Another 18" OEM BBS wheel is the TRD. Essentially a Pro with a TRD stamp on it. Same weight (27lbs) for less coin. I went from stock 20" to these and love them. Look great and a better ride with the smaller, lighter wheels.

like those better myself as well, i need to add a little space away from UCA since i am running 6112 at the 1.9 setting and SPC Uppers control arms. Rear shackle from toytec. Not much clearing, so i need to change uppers or go offset. Dont really know which i need to do. No rubbing on road, at full drop my tire hits the UCA

I’m running the TRD Pro suspension with 295/75 R18s, BORA 1” spacers, and 1.5” rear shackles. Seems spacers could work in your application. Advise to use quality spacers like BORA or Spidertrax.

 

Looks Good... Do you have a picture of the offset/poke? That's only real reason i wanted to get new wheels, but I'm skeptical on installing spacers as well....

Literally got home an hour ago from getting my BMC completed.
Eibach 3/1. JBA HD UCA. Fuel 18x9 +20 offset. Duratrac 285/75/18

 

Got JBA because well might as well right! Anyone have the eibach combo and Jba? With the caster built in can the lca be moved forward enough to not need a cmc/bmc

I shouldn’t have needed a BMC but every vehicle is different I guess. 285/75/18 is technically a 35”. I’ve seen guys run them without a BMC. I guess they just walk in the light.

 

Did your alignment guy adjust your LCA forward when he did the alignment.

 

From what I was told..Yes. 2.8/right 2.9/left, I’m going to take it to someone else next month and have it checked again.

 

Argh. I don’t trust anyone around here to weld on my truck and I don’t have the time to do it myself right now. But at least I have the heads up. Whole project on hold until a later date!

 

I hear you there man..I had a guy refer me to a shop here in Houston, they do really good work. Happy with the outcome.

 

Have had mine on for about a year, happy with it - just can’t wait to go down to 17s and c-rated tires!

 

Not the best pics. I started with 1.25" spacers and went down to 1". Right now, the tire tread is inside the fender wells but the sidewall sticks out just a little - not enough to throw much crap on the sides. There are varying opinions on wheel spacers and I won't start a debate here. I've used them for years and never a single problem. Best.

 

Looks great. What size tires are you running and do you have any rubbing? I've got platinum wheels, but I'm debating what size tires to get. The previous owner had 295/65R 20 and they rub. They're also Nitto ridge grapplers and I can't stand them lol

 

If anyone has installed Coachbuilder .25” shims for additional front height, did you need or use the bolt extensions? Wondering if I’m able to install the bolt extensions without having to remove or disassemble the top hat on the coilover.

 

I have a Coachbuilder .25 shim on the driver side and did not have to use bolt extensions.
