Is an aTO3 harness and an AR Maestro needed when replacing factory amp?

    To replace the OEM amp u need a DSR1 and a D TO1 harness.

Do you have the JBL? If so you need an interface (PAC AP4-TY12) will allow you to add aftermarket amps….the dsr1 will too. At maestro will help with steering wheel controls and interfacing when adding a new headunit….feel free to PM me if you have any questions

Thanks for the help, James helped me through the install and got me up running.

For the record, it was the JBL system and I replaced the entire system with a Tech12volts setup and it sounds amazing!

A Kenwood DNR1007, Audison 5 channel amp, JL C1 650’s front and back, pair of JL Audio 10w1 subs.

I added sound deadening to doors, floors and back wall. My truck sounds amazing and makes you want to drive and listen with no place to go.
