I got my 686 cleaned up just in time for range day. It'll be going head-to-head against my GP100. She's had a grip swap for something wood without finger grooves so it can fit my hands and my sons hands.

S&W model 63-3 4" 6 shot .22lr. I've had it since new in '98 with thousands of rounds shot thru it. Good thing with revolvers is they eat all the cheap stuff.

Wife spent my money to buy herself a Stribog. She has a thing for PCCs, and it was 1/3 the price of the APC9 she really wants so I guess we saved money :D

Update, the scorpion is way better than the Stribog  its fun, but having lots of magazine (presumably) issues. Failure to feed once, lots of failure to extract, or the casing is extracted and then somehow gets stuck between the bolt and the newly loaded round  put probably 200rds through it today, and almost every magazine had at least one issue. Maybe it'll be happier with a cleaning and "break in", but the scorpion which was cheaper has never had a single issue, so if you have a choice of the two go with the CZ :D

Have you had any feeding issues? I know there were issues with the earlier models that got sorted out, so seems weird we're having a hard time.

I’ve been wanting a full size .357 revolver (I have a snub nose) but revolver ammo has been the hardest to find.

How is that .44 magnum to shoot? Dirty Harry always made it look easy. He didn’t even need earplugs.

Only one spot in my area that I've found .357 mag. .38spl is barely any easier to find too. I've seen no .44 mag ammo anywhere.

Did a grip swap on my dad's old model 66. I went with Altamont Target conversion grips as I prefer the square butt over the round butt...on my revolvers. Women is the opposite

    I had a 3" Talo Model 29 for about 6 months..
44 specials were fun to shoot.
44 mag would irritate others at the indoor range.
Great gun, but I sold it after the novelty of it wore off.

So it is loud but not unmanageable (like the .460 or the .500) I have some 180gr. stuff that makes it fun...When you start flingin' the heavy stuff it kicks a bit more...Ihave done some 240gr stuff and it's ok but i have never shot the 300gr stuff. I don't like shooting it indoors....

Finally had some time to groom the Pelican and get my DLD CT4-2A 5.56 nicely tucked in. Trijicon optics, Stream light TRL-1, and some extra MFT mags.

That's sweet! Do you have cases like that for all your guns or just some? I just got a gun safe (finally) last week, and prior to that each gun got its own case/bag so they weren't just laying on top of each other. Now with the safe I don't know if there's a point to a bunch of cases, or slim it down to a handful of cases to stuff whatever guns I'm taking out.

@snivilous ... Now that I spent the money on the Pelican, and it turned out to be exceptionally nice stuff, I will be doing this for all my "traveling" pieces. I have ok setups, but not like this. Definitely worth it!
