Not necessarily. I believe it depends on where in the rpm range you want it to produce the #'s. For example, a funny car has short open headers with no /minimal back-pressure because they run them at WOT from the green light to the finish line for a short time period and sacrifice torque in the process. Conversely, a commuter vehicle would perform poorly in the same state of tune because they are not (typically) run at WOT all the time.

Edit: And, yes, I realize I've greatly oversimplified the subject here since there are many other variables involved in engine building and tuning that contribute to its overall performance, exhaust being just one component in the system.

What youre looking for is compensating the sensors to trick the ecu into running a little rich, then having a freer flowing airfilter and some ram, and exhaust to lean things back out. Make that engine happy at 2200-2500 rpm and let her eat.

This is how I park. Way out, on what used to be the skirts, where the Rough and Tough Guys like Pops park. Reason: So when loading and opening Tundra doors the adjacent vehicle isn’t getting Whoopsied! on their fresh Subaru/BMW/ or Skinny Jean Taco with 84 month payments. :boink:

Another Parking Strategy (involving only taking two slots) is the Double Front/Back Straddle. This one helps for loading lumber as the cart can be pulled straight up to the bed without sticking out into the line of goofy millennial texting traffic or blocking an adjacent hot flashing menopausal women. Yes I also leave my cart in the parking spot as I pull away, but I usually try to bring one in on the initial visit so its a Social Offset I can post on Media to make myself feel good. :D

These options are not as friendly as pre-scary when the outskirts were always empty. Seems everyone can work and get paid whist going to big box at the same time as even the outskirts are almost full capacity even still.:annoyed:

I park out in the boonies to compensate for parking my motorcycle next to the doors. It averages.

but its been a while since ive parked in 4 spots at once.

I practice leave no trace in the parking lot.

I always park in the back. I leave the front spots for the chubby grumpy in a hurry folks. I like being outside.

My gf was busy last week. She went and got her M endorsement, got her insurance on her bike, we went and inspected it on Thursday, then she got it registered on Friday.

With all that done, we finally got to go ride together on Saturday. She's got a bit to learn, but did pretty good overall. We went and looked at that MT-10 I showed the other day. Man, that's a big bike. I'm gonna have to pass on it; it's not the right time.

But yeah, after that I headed back home and got a new high score of 121.

Have any of you guys seen any of the burn acreage reports in the news lately? Here is a graph you may not have seen.

Does it bother anybody else when you see a car still rolling in reverse and you hear the clunk as they dump it into drive?

Not as bad as hearing the clickity clack of the parking pawl when tossing the gear shift into park when you haven’t drepressed the break pedal completely. Don’t ask me how I know. :D

So today, I did another pick up a cart and leave it. Ying and Yang Neutral Social Credítz. Add a bonus 1/2 Credítz for only parking in one spot, but that was offset again with my mean mugging goofy outside mask wearers. The Handkerchief Kind that don’t do squat like the rest of them. :annoyed:

Well I pulled the trigger on some neoprene seat covers from coverking last night. Now I'm contemplating a hilift and all the goodies that entails... Then yellow/amber fog led cubes, then on to the sound system. As long as I keep working these 56-68 hour weeks, I'll have enough cash for mods but no time to install them lol

The mask wearing has already lightened up around here. The specialized coffee shops don’t required them if you’ve been vaxed. Dunkin’ Donuts….depends where to go. Same with liquor stores. Now waiting on local supermarket.
