Added some decent mileage to the odometer by hauling the family from CO to PA for a trip. The radar cruise control is the single greatest feature I’ve ever had in a vehicle. I’m not sure I could do a long drive without it now.

Well, finally did the biggest mod of all to the Tundra... Got a DD. 2002 Sentra Spec-V. Got it for 1K, it'll take me about 20 weeks to break even in gas alone on my commute.

Here's to not driving it daily :(

Looks like bumper caps and grille. He's got tow mirrors so no chrome to delete there.

Dropped it off for a 3 day work up. Few spots needing paint correction, minor dent repair, paint restoration/polish, ceramic coating body + rims, and headlight xpl film.

Diamondback cover shows up today and goes on after the "spa treatment". Can't wait :D.

On a side note, now I gotta learn how to two bucket wash and care for this thing. If I do in fact keep this "til the wheels fall off" I don't want a swirled up fugly truck 10yrs from now.

Great trip:thumbsup: I did Florida-New York-(PA)-Colorado-Florida in 2.5 weeks and I wished I had an adaptive cruise control on my CM Tundra but it was ok :p

I know this look won't be to some folk's taste but I had a chance over the weekend to install a new commercial grade blindspot detection system my employer offers. Because truck's have steel bumpers, the kit we offer for passenger cars won't work, so we had to come up with these surface mount sensors to go on the body of trucks. Again, it's designed more for commercial aftermarket bodies like you might see on a U-Haul truck or something like a Knapheide body on a service truck of some sort. Works well though.

The first few images below are what the sensors look like from the outside, then a couple images showing what they look like in my sideview mirrors (these images make them look taller than they are), then some images of the LED indicators in place on the A-pillar cover, and finally a video of it in operation. It works for overtaking and being passed on the highway as well as for rear cross-traffic alert when backing out of a driveway or parking spot.

Any fitment issues on yours? I feel like mine doesn’t line up on the front and back of the bed like it supposed to, but I don’t have anything to compare it to. Probably just my OCD.

@shawn474 did you install a fuse and do you have any pics of the wiring?

Guessing you intended to quote me instead of @shawn474 - - I did, but apologies I don't. There's a fuse for that circuit anyway, so you're likely okay w/o; unless, of course, this is what it will look like under use:
