Get Caliraised amber ditch lights to mount facing backwards as chase/dust lights. The color is the best for being visible through heavy dust, daytime or night time. And they don’t cost too much.

I (strongly and repeatedly ) recommend amber Caliraised ditch/ A-pillar as rear-facing dust/ chase lights... but I leave it to you to decide what to mount facing forward. I and others run Baja Designs facing front. I also like Black Oak LED... more of the Jeep crowd use them than the Tundra people on here... but both BD and Black Oak have excellent output and warranties. Both American made too. :oldglory:

Black Oak costs a lot less than BD.

Others popular on here are Rigid and Diode Dynamics but I don’t know enough to tell you how they compare to BD.

Caliraised sell their lights as forward facing ditch/ dust lights but they’re not bright enough IMO... but their “amber” is more orange than BD’s which are very yellow and disappear in dust = useless.

I think some of what he’s describing includes areas you’ve done in that Fish Creek area. Once summer ebbs, we should check it out!

I have no real idea.... I was thinking it cools off in the Evening, but i've been wrong before. What are the temps like in the twilight out there? Would anyone actually be interested?? This may sound crazy, but getting away from the city seems to be the only way I can reduce my stress level, so its all i think about lol.

Next full moon is the 24th and it's a strawberry moon, whatever that means :notsure:.
I don't think high 70s and 80s at night are too bad especially with a breeze. Windows down, A/C blowing.

Friday the 18th looks like a perfect day to go to the desert. :eek2:

Well there's an 11mph breeze so it should only feel like 118* with the wind chill factor. :D

Pretty much any Saturday/ Sunday that a few people would like to do. Anyone can tag along that wants to as long as we don't get 20+ trucks. Could even be this weekend or next weekend.

100% get 'em. All four are way cheaper than replacing a sensor, I think. The sensors are easily damaged off road and can ruin a trip. Cheap insurance.
