They’re not only brighter but the coverage is way better. Especially distance, as well as to the sides. IMO.
Way better.

 

Tied with improving my suspension on my 2015 Sr5.

 

gave the old girl a much needed bath tonight.

 

I really don't know yet, as I haven't driven at night. I cannot imagine it would not be a 100% improvement, as sometimes I literally drove w/my brights on in rural areas because the output from the halogen was so bad. I will let let you know soon.

I have one on mine and haven’t opened it in 2 years. Only time I did is when I was looking at buying the truck.

 

Yeah, you got about 45 minutes a year that thing would make you feel comfy. Like a hole for pea soup, rain, or molten magma to pour in the rest of the year... Can relate. Lived in Pearland when I was young. North Texas is much better. We have three hours and twenty minutes a year for it to blow our hair around and feel good.

 

Just finished my install of the N-FAB Podium side steps. So far, I like the drop down.

 

Installed the dual outlet plate from @Chelly - Thank you sir. Also got the wireless charging tray installed, and am awaiting the AAWireless dongle (til October ).

 

Mine used to look like that until the powdercoat went to crap after a few months.

 

Turned out great!

 

No complaints on mine, but they are dirty most of the time anyway.

 

I went from a 4Runner with projector lenses/LEDs to the Tundras w/halogens. After first drive at night I got home and found this forum researching how to do the LED mod. Going to 2019 LEDs is absolutely like turning night to day.

 

Just got my Dirty deeds 8”system, Diode dynamics SS3 amber fogs and paint matched mirror covers. I’ll be installing them tomorrow. Pics to follow.

 

Got off work a little early so I tackled the under seat storage. Pretty simple just take your time with the cuts. I'm a little bummed because I did some research and found guys who had the under seat storage and air compressor so instead if cutting the floor for the compressor and then later down the line making different cuts for the storage I wanted I decided to just get the storage now and only make the 1 set of cuts. Well after it's all said and done the compressor does not fit in the esp storage like I had seen in previous pictures. I'd have to cut out a portion of the storage box for it to even come close which sucks because I do not want to do that. So compressor may end up going unless I can figure something else out.

 

Bought pair of speakers, Kicker 47KSC6704 from Crutchfield and installed this morning. Only replaced front doors. The sound changed much better but not my taste. I have been a fan of Pioneer speakers. But they are not available in US.

Also finally got these in the mail and installed yesterday, big improvement.

Installed my OEM Bed step & tail gate lock after all the rain yesterday afternoon. I have to say it was really easy with cutting the bracket vs trying to undue the bumper.

 

I want one. What did you end up paying for it and where from ?

Pulled the underseat storage out and threw my new rear Husky liner in. Photo shows Toyota all weather liner sitting on top of Husky #53851 (Double cab full coverage) to show the vast improvement in coverage.

 

bracketeer has one you can mount infront/rear on seat bracket

 

Put $85 in her.

 

I don't understand this post. Are you recommending them or not? Why do you not like them?
