I have installed Dash Camera in my 2021 and was wondering what everybody connects it to for Parking Mode to be activated once you shut off the engine.
As I was originally figuring out I have connected Full Time power to Tail Light circuit and Switched Power or ACC to the Radio circuit, but what I found out the camera keeps recording... it seems like the Radio circuit still gets power when the vehicle is off even the Headunit itself is turning off with ignition off.
Does anyone know a better option to connect ACC to for Camera recording only when engine is On and Parking Mode activated when the engine is off?

This would just power a DashCam when in drive.

My concern what to use for power it in Parking mode. Hardwire harness I got for the cam comes with 3 leads: (-) Negative - Ground, (+) Positive - Full Time Power (used Taillights circuit as light can be turned on without an ignition), and (+) ACC - Ignition only Power (used Radio circuit). This last ACC power is puzzling me. It should be OFF when ignition is off. So the question what are people use for ACC power on their vehicles???

If ACC power is not shuts off, then DashCam would continue record like its ON. Parking Mode let it records only motion or impact, but the camera have to know that ignition is off for to go to Parking Mode.

Any suggestions anyone have from their experience?

Any ignition only power circuit would work. For example, the power outlet circuit under the dash. Just use a fuse tap.

The mirror harness on some models has an always hot connection for Homelink/garage door opener. I’d need to see if I can find the wiring diagram, but you can tap acc and full time hot there.

    This was my second thought.
I'm tapping by Add-A-Fuse to the fuse panel, so fused line is not an issue.
Just thought I'd ask guys what is being used, so not to reinvent the bicycle...
