I have a 2018 Platinum, the Alexa icon is on my Entune screen, I downloaded the Entune app, then I read I have to download the Toyota + Alexa app, then when I run it, it tells me I have to have a completely different Toyota app that is simply "Toyota". I did all this even though I shouldn't have to have 3 apps running for it work and it still says can't connect. I have Bluetooth on and connected and a newer Samsung S20 5G which says it is compatible. Wth? Thanks in advance.

It just boggles my mind that Toyota has built up this good reputation over several decades and they blew it on the stereo in many ways. It isn't just one year either, it seems to be the case on all 3rd generation Tundras. My 2008 system rocked, even though it didn't have the fancy stuff that Entune has, it was loud and clear with no issues at all.

My Alexa used to work "ok".. now when I do get it to connect it will play for about 60seconds and disconnect. This shit is annoying.

I got an alert about the Alexa app on my phone, only to realize it was my own post. Lol. Yeah, it amazes me Toyota let this one slide and the JBL system as a whole. Just wondering what else they skimped on. Thinking of going to vroom route to sell for even money. Not really impressed with much on this vehicle to be honest.

Agreed, but I don't really have any reason to need a truck right now. I could drive a 1995 Oldsmobile for all I care for the next few years. Who knows, maybe the 2022 model will be cool, but I'm not going to buy the first year model of anything. Lol

This since I changed from Entune app to Toyota app. Used to work fine til the man made me change. Any solutions? I’ve deleted and added phones. Hard and soft resets.

Same. Toyota app doesn’t work. Apple Music and Bluetooth always works.

Whatever this forum told me to do
Alexa only works for me when I have both the Toyota app & the Toyota/Alexa app running at the same time.

with the Alexa app running in the front.
