Use a heat gun or hair dryer or in S.A, just leave your truck outside for an hour. Then use fishing line and work between the badge and truck. Use goo gone to get rid of the remaining residue. then detail where you took the badge off, so that the goo gone doesn't mess the paint up.

    Just go slow.

I just did wheels and tires, and ordered my suspension a few days ago. So just went with the AC vent rings for now haha. Might do some more later, but I catch most of my glare from the AC rings.

It took me about 30 minutes to debadge mine. I used the teflon pry bars that you get from any of the auto parts stores. Those boogers pop right off. Then I peeled the sticker ofc of back corners.

Used some wax to get residue off.

That is painted under the window pillar?
I thought it was chrome for some reason.
    Pulling mine off this weekend...:eek2:

I left my 5.7 badge on so no one would think I had a 4.6...
Had a dechromed custom painted 5.7 badge made years ago, yet it still sits in my Tundra box...
Probably use them once I swap or cover the chrome bumper ends...

    Chrome under there?
I’ve seen putco chrome put over them. But nope, that’s just vinyl wrap over factory paint.

I don't know who stsrted the chrome rumor, but I've heard it too. Its one piece of trim that isn't chrome from the factory.
I really like that without the vinyl it gives a new look that even Tundra guys have to take a sec to figure out. Its gonna look great on your MGM DC. Post pics!
I never reslly liked the 5.7 badge. Blacked out it just looked like a random black rectangle to me. Your painted one looks slick tho! I blacked out all my badges a year ago, then slowly decided that I didn't like them anymore.

Indeed ..AJT quality is impressive. Really like the black inside door handles that snap over the chrome, and can't feel any seem/transition on backside. People would never know not OEM unless tell 'em.

So far the silver handles don’t bother me, we’ll see if that changes when I delete the rest of the chrome.

Thank you sir! And thanks for the inspiration. You were spot on about that one lower corner being a bit tricky to get out from behind the trim, some slow and careful heat and steady pressure let it pull loose.

Friendly reminder to check the pressure of your spare periodically. Mine was at 20 psi. Fixing that right now.

Put my ARB awning on and started getting prepped for our OBX trip coming up this week.

Also finally got my TVD Vinyl wheel decals put on @rrentrop! First one took about an hour, taking my time and making sure everything was lined. The next 3 took about 90 minutes combined. Not bad at all to install and gets me the look I was wanting! Bubbles came out easily with a hair dryer.

Here you go, it is suppose to go under the seat like I showed but I've read some people have put it in the esp storage boxes and I think I'm going to go that route. Already ordered the box so when it comes in I'll finish the install. Also like I mentioned it did not come with any instructions and the wires that came with it really aren't self explanatory so ill have to do some research.

Yeah that won't be a problem, the box I'm putting it in should be here next week and I'll try and run the wires before that if I get time after work. If I can figure out how to post videos I'll get one up.
