Three days ago, on Tuesday, I towed 7600 lbs TT, 820 miles, for 15 hours straight, from AZ to Norcal. Ran good, shifted smooth, the highest temp was 242° at the TC, while going uphill in S3. Blackstone should receive my sample today and I should have the results in about a week. Stay tuned.

I do the same drain and fill, just with a milk jug. Try my best to make the ambient temp of the old and new fluid are the same. Tho I do it with the front on ramps, so I get right on 4 qts.

Have you done differential fluid as well? How involved if so?

Dif fluid was done by the dealer, at 50K, while in the hands of previous owner. I’m planning on doing it again at 100K. I can’t imagine it being too difficult though.

My truck is scheduled to go into service department next week todo spark plugs. I was going to ask the service department to do the ATF fluid. Do you guys think they will perform a full fluid change or do a drain and fill like shown here?

Ask them how many quarts they will use/charge you for. If it's 4ish, it's a drain and fill.
