I went to parts.toyota.com and found the closest dealer to me and saw they had an air filter for my 2000 4Runner for $16, but they won't let you buy online and pick it up, you can only order for delivery. So I went to the shop and asked for one and they told me $26...I showed them the website and he said he was told he could not sell them for that price...that was for shipped only.:mad::mad: Then when I told the guy no thanks, he was pissy about it....oh well.

Yeah, most are like that but if you check out a few of them in your area, some will allow you to pick up in addition to shipping it.

Guess my Stealer is an anomaly. They don’t mind pick up (free) with online orders. I’d be chapped, as well.

For the last ten years or so when I really need to focus at work I go "into headphone land". I put in the earbuds, turn of up the music, and don't look at my inbox.

An hour ago I was having a meeting with my executive and my wife was in a training session. She borrowed my earbuds so that my meeting won't be disturbed. I needed to hit headphone land when my meeting was done, I noticed she had a set of over-ear headphones (kinda like Beats). Holy crap these sound better! Now I need a pair of these!

I pretty much much got motorcycles out of my system but I would still like to own one of the old yamaha or suzuki 2 stroke street bikes. This is a 701 superjet. It's only purpose in life is to rocket the user off a boat wake. I probably wont ever let this one go.

I've never stepped foot in the motorcycle life but if I ever get a bike these are the style I like. Or an old Triumph. Or a late 60s Honda Dream, something about those I find attractive.

That brings back a lot of memories. My Honda Dream was red and I had an Easy Rider American flag helmet.

I was digging around in my videos for one of me riding my 1980 Honda XL80S. Didn't find it. Just imagine a smaller version of this guy putting around the yard.
    https://youtu.be/bBfl3yKe9iM
It looks like this, but shittier (no side plastics, faded stickers, dented tank, no front turns, etc...) It was a farm bike used to herd cattle. 3,000 miles. Needs love.

It runs pretty nice, but petcock on the bottom of the fuel tank leaks, and it's above the exhaust. Haven't had time, and financial priorities are elsewhere.

Anyways, I found this video in my files. The ex, and I had just gotten off the boat at cozumel. We walked down the pier, and went through their "customs" shop. Waited around at the beginning of the pier for our excursion to start. While we were waiting we heard thus gut yelling about riding his ass. He had two fiberglass donkeys that people were taking pictures with.

Low end torque, wider ratio trans, clutch and brake feel. It was a used dealer and the 998 might not have been as well maintained, and maybe i was expecting zx6r speed...

but also price. Buell made a bigger smile for half the price.

and sometimes going straight to McGeorge is cheaper even with shipping. Ignition Coils @ parts.toyota.com using McGeorge zip code for dealer are 101.22 vs 72.00 @ McGeorge.
Will give ya an at-a-boy for the suggestion since I been putting off changing Coils.

Anyone have any opinions on a 2021 Corolla Hybrid?

I'm tire kicking on our next car and it's a contender.

Treat it like a lease? Whats the warranties on new hybrids like? How cold does it get in the winter?

    I couldn't buy a hybrid.
Considering the total costs associated with hybrid vehicle batteries, there's just no way.

There are plenty of high-efficiency gas cars out there to be had.

Warranty is 3/36 total, 5/60 powertrain, 10/150 battery.

Both regular and hybrid equipped for what I want are under $25k so cost isn't an issue. Mileage is 10-15mpg difference for my driving between regular and hybrid.
