I got this idea here. The guy that started it posted a few times and then went away. One of my coworkers has a 3D printer. We measured my cup holder and he printed a prototype. Needs some minor adjustments, but on the right track. It's sized for a 2nd gen bench seat with the fold down console. The hole is specific to Mt Dew, Bud and a 30 oz Yeti knock off, but it appears to hold a red solo cup ok also. The actual Yeti is very close in size. We changed some dimensions and he will print the whole thing next, probably tomorrow. Might still make some changes. He's used to it, I've had him design many things in the past few years. I give him the concept, and then pick him to death on the details.20180312_141558.jpg 20180312_144338.jpg 20180312_141425.jpg 20180312_180641.jpg

Pretty sweet, wonder if this would fit the 3rdgen bench with center fold down console. My drinks flop around in these cup holders, don't know what Toyota designed them to actually fit.

I'm guessing it would, I don't think the console changed. Agree, I haven't found anything that fits. When we get it right I'll let you know, since you're local we could get together and experiment with various containers . Could be the start of a Tidewater Tundra Tumbler group.

I never saw that before, it holds a 32 oz gatoraid!!!!

Those are awesome! Those 3d printers are pretty cool.

I went the budget route with a little weatherstripping. Cut a couple of circles from an old wetsuit to put in the bottom too.

Finished product. It holds a 12 oz can perfectly, large yeti style cup and this. And a red solo cup. The guy said he would consider printing some for a small cost if there's any interest. I can only say that it fits a 2013 base model with the bench seat. I'm not sure about any other styles. It does not fit @driverdog Pro, thanks Jim. I'd be willing to meet someone here locally to test fit if desired. I can also post a sketch with key dimensions if needed. It's easily modified now that he has the CAD file built. Cheers.

Do you still happen to have the CAD file for this? Or even the general measurements? Got a relative that wants a print for their cupholder but it's a lot to ask them for precise measurements. Appreciate it!

I don't have the files, but I can get some measurements when the shed cools below the temperature of hell.

Is that from home depot? Can you link to a part number?

My cup holders are overly loose and the worst is when putting in a size 'small' coffee cup (eg. McDonald's) The cup sinks down too far and then hangs by the lid - which then pops off. I usually stuff a few napkins in there to provide some lift but making the holder narrower would likely fix the issue.

    Perhaps this?

I used to own a Pathfinder that had the below cupholders in them.

    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C8NTJG3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8

They looked like they would fit into the Tundra nicely and they do with a little trimming of the tab piece. 2 for $10. Can't beat it. It fits 12oz cans and both the 20 and 30oz Yeti Ramblers.

Thank you for the idea, looked around at Lowes and came across these which work well for the cup I use (see white cup in pic). The other cup was a little snug but pulled out without issue. The insert does not go down all the way into the cup holder slot but it grips so well I would have to force it pretty hard to get it down further. The part I liked the most is no trimming or anything, just insert the purchased item.

@BrakeDust and @Jim LE 1301 - Forum software doing something strange with the link because if I manually cut and place the link in a browser worked fine. Replace the . with [dot] so people will need to manually edit. Thanks for the heads up.
