I really like that steering wheel. Did you modify your stock one, or is that from something else?

I put an Undercover Flex on my 2014 soon after I bought it.
I don't have the bed rail system so I had to use the Undercover clamps that attach to the bed rail edge.

The left side, no issues ever.
The right side, the rail came off the bed edge every time I slammed the cover shut.
Dealt with this for 4 years.

I contacted Undercover 2 years ago and they sent me a new set of bed clamps, with extensions, for free.
No difference, they just would not grip the right side rail edge.

This year I asked Undercover if I could buy a set of the bed rail system rail clamps.
They sent them to me for free, along with every thing else needed for a new install...

Finally this week I bought the OEM rail system for my 6.5 foot bed.
Installed them and the Undercover clamps today.
Now I can now slam the cover down and it locks in place.
Flex rails are secure and don't move with the Undercover rail system clamps..

I swapped my silver interior door handles for black (SR) handles.
I hope to eventually omit the silver color from my interior.
But for now, it took a big ugly part of it away.

I considered AJT covers, but they already seem bulky enough.
BTW I love all my other AJT stuff.

I bought the cheaper aftermarket handles on eBay for $68.68.
They fit great and look stock.
Took about 10 minutes a door.
But keep in mind, I've had my door panels off 8 or 9 times in the last 5 years....

Very sorry to hear this. I lost my dad in April of '20; it was a really tough year for a lot of people. Those boys are lucky to have you as their dad. Here is to a better year! God bless you guys!

Bit the bullet and put the rough country bumper on. I know some people aren’t a fan because of the gap it creates between the bumper and the tailgate, but I don’t mind it. It makes it look “rough”. :bananadance:

Installing the license plate lights was a bit wonky and kind of a dumb design since the wiring goes through the license plate holes.

I bought the bumper “used” off Facebook marketplace (actually in hindsight I think it fell off a truck) and it was missing some parts. Rough Country was VERY helpful in sending me what I needed. Hats off to their customer service.

I like the look of it! And if you got it “used” they get you saved a little bit of money. Nothing wrong with that at all

It's an aftermarket wheel replacement that I bought from someone on FB. Pretty simple replacement if you get the steering wheel puller from any auto parts store

I covered the gap on mine with a 1/4 thick aluminum stick. Looks so much better IMO.

Thanks for the link to the lugs @Rely01. Am installing blacked out rims (Granite Alloy GA640) and Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my truck today (it's actually in the shop as I type this) and realized yesterday that I forgot to order the black lugs to complete the look. Am going to have to ride around with the original chrome lugs for a few days until these come in.

Double-pin geared-type stands are just a no for me. Pin-through stands accepting tonnage way over the stress ever loaded on it is the way an old guy does it. Even if you're on a budget, the extra $200 it costs for a pair isn't just peace of mind. The risk of failure might be low for a budget stand, but the effect of failure is not.

Harbor freight also has this 3-ton, pin-through design jack. My concern is the base looks too small to ensure stabilty. Anyone use these?

I get it - - it's overkill. Is there some place in between a budget option and the overkill option that's perfectly safe? Yep. I'm I going to test it? Nope. And I'd recommend anyone take the same tack.

Since the Undercover Flex rails make it impossible to use the tie downs that came with the rail system, I ordered these today.
I think they will work being smaller and fit under the Flex rail.

Amazon.com: CCR Sport Deck Rail Tie Down Hook for Toyota Tundra/Tacoma (4-Pack): Automotive

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Even with the cover, there have been many times I needed tie downs to strap down the wife's purchases...

I'll let y'all know how they turned out.
I'm sure there are many members with covers that would like to have more tie downs than the 4 corners..
That stated, I only have 3 stock tie downs with the swingcase...

Those look awesome, better than the ones that lay flat like I have. Looks easier and more slick.
