What process did you use to black out the wheels? They look good. Been trying to think of what to do about mine.

Finally got around to installing my AJT climate knobs and 4x4 selector. Interior mods are almost done! Also installed the AJT door handle overlays but forgot a pic

Finally had a sunny day to test out the screen visor I ordered on Amazon from NaviShade. Technically it’s for a Prius, so I couldn’t get the side pieces on, only the top. Either way, works wonders to reduce the sun glare on the screen and should net me about 50 mpg now

I didn't think you could do carplay or android auto on a pre-2020 entune head unit?

Those are the last pieces I need to install. Hope it wasn't that complicated. Looks good.

I’m in the same boat. Looking at the video, it doesn’t seem ultra complicated. I’ll probably still screw it up though.

They are actually polished stainless and have a lifetime finish warranty vs. 5 years for the powder coated ones.

The powdercoat is a 5 year as well. Mine had flat spots so I had them Line-X'ed.

Wow, that’s a lot of awesome advice! I was originally planning on leaving them on the truck but now I’m taking them off. Might do 2 wheels at a time to make sure I have enough time. I hope mine come out as nice as yours, I’ll post pics when I’m done.

Honestly it's probably easier to do them on the truck but it's easy either way haha. Just washed my truck today and they look great. Small section on the inner portion that's peeled (very thin layer must have missed it) so I'll have to redo one

I've done everything in the kit except for the 4x4 knob. How difficult was that one/ any tips?

I just added a switch to the ACC fuse under the dash and it kills the radio power. You could also just hold down the power knob but the switch was faster for me

This is something I’ve been meaning to do with my Pioneer. I get random freezes and the only solution is a restart. I do have a SIM card tool sitting in my center console now so that I can hit the reset button. Not ideal as I lose a few non-essential settings, but it keeps the stereo working while driving.

wasn’t too hard, the trim rings for the knobs were the hardest to to get off. But not bad at all!

yeah that’s why I did the kit, looks way better also, plastic chrome looks so cheap and dated to me.

4x4 knob was very easy, there’s a couple videos online that cover it pretty well. The Tacoma and tundra knob are the same.
