If anyone is located around Lake Oswego and likes to get up super early, I'm over at CFLO most mornings at 5:30 AM. Pop in and check it out...good crew and gets that workout out of the way.

LOL - I've got a full gym in my garage and still struggle to get my ass up to get out there...

Yeah, I hear you. I was going to go the garage gym route, but for the very reason you just stated I knew it wouldn't work. I need that accountability of someone else yelling at me to get me up and working out. Too bad I'm not more disciplined!

Have you checked out Kiloflex? They are based in Canby so local pick up saves some good money. I have a set of their bumpers, some iron plates, parrellettes, and several of their kettlebells.

Jean Thorson is an awesome coach. If LO wasn’t such a drive I’d be there.

I hear you! But I also like that fact that I can jump on my rower or bike for 20 minutes on those days when a full workout isn’t possible due to schedule.

I did get up this morning and got a good AMRAP in before the kids had to get up for school. Had to work off part of the Great Notion stout I had last night!

Yes I have. One of my coworkers knows the owner. I bought some DB’s from them.
I was thinking about their comp bumper plate sets.

I have also used PR Lifting in the past. No shipping if you pick up at a drop point in Portland.

Yes, I have looked at PR Lifting, they just didn’t have anything in stock when I started building my gym (no one else did either). Then I found Kiloflex and have stuck with them. I have their HP bumper set and have been happy for my use. The cost per pound was amazing at the time as I see prices have gone up.

    I’m in Sherwood...but at work(Gresham) by 0445.

Home gym for me. Did powerlifting for a couple years. Now I just started up Street Parking again.
Schedule is way to freaking busy for 2 hour long workouts. Plus I’m not recovering as well as I used to.

This! When I started CrossFit 10 years ago recovery was a lot easier. Now at 43 I can find myself sore for like three days from a workout! Sucks!

Funny, I'm also 43 and about 10 years in. My goal used to be Rx'ing the workout and going all out. Now my goal is to not get injured so I can continue going to the gym lol.

I was texting my buddy the other day about bumper choices.

I was giving him a hard time about waiting like 7 months for my dumbells but of course they have the bumpers in stock :spending:

Anyone doing anything worth bragging about for Memorial Day? Taking the kiddos out in the camper for some dirt and sunshine. Let them ride bikes and build forts with the drift wood that builds up on the shoreline.

We are staying close to home. Going to be hot so setting up the mini above ground pool. Otherwise probably s’mores at the backyard fire ring and just hanging as a family. Went camping last weekend and next camping trip is in about three weeks.

We may try doing a short trip with our new trailer, but not sure yet. We have trip planned for Father’s Day weekend and one for end of July up near Riggins.

You guys need to keep talking about work outs and exercise. My round azz need more guilt to get moving. I’ve never enjoyed exercising but I’m in the same age bracket and need to shed 20lbs to get back to healthy.

As for the weekend, we are hauling the trailer down to Vancouver to visit some friends. Will set up at their house and use it for sleeping. Sounds like we will day trip to the OR coast on Sunday. Otherwise we are just hanging out and relaxing.

Chores at my place Saturday. Then working on my dad's place Sunday and Monday. My fun will be the following weekend. Visiting a buddy of mine. His youngest graduates Fri June 4th. Then Saturday his other kid turns 21. Then Monday the 7th the truck goes in for scheduled service and fuel pump recall.

    Nice, what did you get?

We have camping this weekend, Father's Day, 4th of July, a long road trip to Humboldt and then a break as summer camps start to kick in. Really wish we had a bigger trailer.

    Nice!

    I have a vest...but hate to run.
Have only been doing these for like a week and a half.
Sometimes shift, sometimes regular A or C.

    I have 0 interest in the leader board..but what’s a good 5k row time? I guess I could check.

This is what it’s like to ask “what’s the biggest tire ....“ question on here

I did this weeks row version of Endurance on Sunday.

I don’t care about the leader board either as I like the functional part of fitness. I do like body weight movements and adding a vest when I can as it is quite humbling.
