    I have a set of those sitting in the garage not being used. They are aluminum. I don't know why BAK didn't use steel.

    Because the bed cover is attached to the rails.
    It is the only reason I bought the rails.

    The original bed cover clamps will not stay attached to the truck bed rails.
    They fall off every time I closed it.
    I Undercover gave me the clamps to use with the rail system.

    Besides that, these OEM bed cleats are HUGE and ugly.

    I'm going with these and they should fit fine with what I have..
