What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

You must be the 1st Tundra that I have ever seen with chrome NFabs. I have the powdercoated Podiums....well they started out with powdercoat anyway.

 

I don't too often, but was ready in case of flooding. wife laughed at me saying, "Oh yea Andy, like the 100 year flood is gonna come by and you'll be one of the few prepared with your lifted tundra and diff breathers". Last week our town got hit hard by flooding and I had to take a road that came almost to the bottom of my truck doors (6" lift on 35s). I just trolled through it easily and safely and the weather station actually said that the rain we got in those few hours was similar to that of a 100 year flood. I sloooooowly turned to my wife and said, "well?".

Now you just gotta remove the Chrome, Suspension, Tires, Rims, HU, speakers, and add a supercharger.

 

hahah all in good time. I can’t decide what is going to happen first. I come from a few tacomas and keep reminding myself that I probably won’t use this one as much offroad so want to keep it a little more mild. But we shall see!

I actually wasn’t too picky with color, and I got this used with 150 miles so couldn’t pass up the deal. Kinda wanted cement lol

 

Order cat protection plates too. Cats are hot items for thieves right now.

 

No cement lol....us Barcelonas are rare compared to the other colors.

Very true. Don’t see too many.

 

I purchased and installed these almost a year ago with no complaints. The fitment is spot on and really hard to tell it's a cover

New lift kit freshly installed yesterday from a 3/2 rough country to a 8 inch ready lift! Big difference in ride quality!

 

Washed then did this ceramic thing to the Grey Ghost on Sunday.
Today, I decided to drive into town for breakfast.
As I walked up to the rig I saw at least 20 bird shits on the hood.
I got a towel and flicked the damn things right off.
I'm sold...

Y'all please excuse my ignorance (hard finding an answer when searching for "box under bed of Tundra ), but what is this box / enclosure?

 

I was kind of curious about that myself… I was looking at it and guessing it was the gas tank evap canister but I could be way off.

 

It is an evap system.

 

Watch Ghostbusters (original 1984). It is the holding tank.
