As cool as it would be if I did, I had Ele do them for me. Great guy to work with. I had one of the projector shrouds fall off while off roading and he walked me through taking them apart and re sealing them. Even helped me out on a Sunday! Definitely recommend going through him.

Cool...I've been chatting with him about doing mine...just trying to get the cash together. So you had them blacked out inside, shrouds painted to match and you upgraded projectors? You happy with the light output?
Shroud fell off because they had been already taken apart? I know he does a great job... but I'm still a little bit leery of taking apart my new headlights!

The JB weld on the back of the projector shroud didn't hold up to quite a few forest roads. He said it was a rarity, but that he has had to do it a few times on his personal truck. It's not a big deal to rip them apart, but I've been fighting getting a good seal. I think I finally got it, though, as it held up fine to a wash yesterday with no signs of moisture trapped in there. I had some retrofit sealer left over from another project from a few years ago. For me, not a big deal. But as he told me, it was a rarity. I also haven't heard of anyone else having the same issues FWIW.

The second day I had my Tundra my dad was riding with me and we were behind another Tundra. He noticed the chrome 4x4 emblem on the tailgate and asked if mine had that, my reply was "Hell yea mine has that"!! Got back and found out it didn't. I was pissed and on the verge of calling the dealership but did some research and found out TRD OR models don't have it but I now wanted it just because he asked. I found the part # and here she is :)

Now you're gonna have to dip that in black to match the inserts. Then it will look even more BA.

I went back and forth chrome or black, the inserts are black but the rest of the emblems are chrome what do I do! I decided chrome. They do have the black ones out there but I don't know the part number without searching.

I am not to familiar with it yet but have down loaded a app called Galileo that works with it. Did the AZ map for now on a android tablet I can see where I am on the map and get my gps location but have not figured out how to put in where I want to go. The device gives signal only so it is meant to use with a blue tooth phone or tablet downloaded maps. I am going to try a couple different apps and see if there are any differences.

Finally received my diamondback bed cover. I put it on yesterday... but the truck was too dirty for a pic. So, here is the pics with the diamondback installed after a good washing.

Only on for a day... but I am impressed so far. Latches and locks engage well. The install took about a half an hour with a little help from the wife. So far it's keeping the water out, time will tell. I do have to readjust some of the hardware to make it close a bit tighter. The wife just didn't have enough weight to pull the doors closed all the way. I should have had her stand on it!

A little of this and a little of that.
I love that Diamondback bed cover you put on. Very sturdy. It was on the short list of bed covers I was thinking about. I eventually bought the BAKFlip X2 and love it!

I'm thinking 5 is conservative, my initial testing seems to suggest between 8 and 12 additional ponies...
