This i want to know too. We were at warrenton this past winter but I didn’t have the balls to go hit the sand. Seen too many people get stuck and I don’t have any experience with it.

When you do the can check ins, look for printed phrases on the cans next to the bottle date (not all have it). That’s the secret code to plug in on the check in.

I was camping at fort Stevens, so we got on the beach there. I never had to air down on that beach before. Just turned off my traction control and carried my speed through the ramp.

I used to drive my Honda Pilot out on the beach without an issue. The main thing is the entrances/exits can be rutted and soft. I would just keep the momentum up and go, not saying it is the best method but it worked for me! Once you get out closer to the water it is smooth sailing.

Did you come back today? Saw a cement double cab just like yours on 26 at about 6:30 or so.

I'm not one for beer that doesn't taste like a beer but you guys might have me talked into some Great Notion.
I'm surprised it hasn't been suggested on my phone

A good sour is about as crazy as I get, normally reach for a IPA or lager.

    I’m with you. The beers I brew are;
    Tennessee Red
    New world IPA
    Cascadian Dark Ale
    and similar
I prefer to stay with basic dark and amber ales and solid IPA’s.
Occasionally I will brew a Stout or Porter.
Kinda like a desert beer, you know

I understand. The Jammy Pants I had yesterday was my first sour. Actually tasted like I was drinking a hard cider. I am not a fan of IPA but love a good stout or porter so that is why I selected Hot Fudge Saturday. Some of their selections seem a bit to outrageous for me so I likely stick to the stouts for now if buying cans. If at their taprooms I’d be a bit more adventurous since the commitment would be lower.

They’ve got some good, more “normal” IPAs, lagers, and pilsners too. The Lady Behind The Glass they have right now is a good, somewhat hoppy, pilsener. And the Thumbsplitter was a good lager. I’m not too keen on the “smoothie” beers, but a lot of their sours, especially those with apricot or tropical fruits, have really grown on me.

Like a cider, I am sure the sours will be great on a hot day hanging in the back yard or camping.

Any of the IPA’s I’ve had at GN have been good IPA’s if you like IPA’s. The Ripe line they come out with is my favorite. I liked the Ripe better than the… 287F90EF-5FB7-4C93-95AE-0EEF72AE8997.jpgbut they are a solid IPA. GN knows what they are doing…

    For now.

This year we’re gonna be using our new cider press with some of the surplus of apples and pears. Am looking forward to making some true traditional hard ciders

Working for the weekend, today is my last day with my current team and moving to a new team on Tuesday. Going to read back through the last few pages to try and come up with a shopping list to source from during camping.

Been a long three years and am ready for the change.

For sure. Should be exciting. Not looking forward to the commute though due to lack of public transportation routes to new location. It is what it is.

@Stroke250 What bumpers are you using? I sold all my bumpers, boxes, some KB’s and sand bag. Gave away my tires. This buying stuff again is not fun. I am thinking about going with the Rogue Fleck. There are a couple local options. It’s sad when the shipping from Rep makes their product more expensive then Rogue.

@Juanjoolio007 We use Fringe Sport. We were local to them when we were in Texas. Their stuff has been fantastic though! And I believe most items are free shipping! Edit: Looks like they have sales going on too!

oh nice! I forgot about them. I was originally thinking about Rogue Mil Spec in case I find myself in a parking lot working out. But am thinking now I would just do program A that day or maybe Sandbag version. So I don’t have to lug the barbell and the plates with me.
