When I bought my Tundra, I ordered the TRD pro grille with it. When I finally got it, it only came with the grille itself, and the bottom part of the grille surround. Was I supposed to get the top part of the grille surround as well? It doesn't seem to make much sense that it only came with the bottom half. Anyone know where I can get just that part, or has anyone had any luck painting that part? Thanks.

I got black. Sometimes I wish I had gone with white, inferno, or barcelona red, but I think I would second guess colors no matter what I got.

I was sifting through a thread he posted the other day. One of the first things he said in the thread is that you have to buy everything together as a package. You can't just buy part of the TRD pro grille. This is why I found it semi odd that mine came, from the dealership, with just the lower half.

The top and bottom are two separate parts normally but some shops sell them as a kit.

That actually looks pretty cool with the chrome bumper ends and mirror caps. I'm not suggesting you keep it like that, just always wondered how it would look. Not terrible.

Thanks. I actually like the way it looks too. There's a sense of symmetry to it. But I will like it more once I get rid of all the chrome I think. I am gonna keep all the old parts, so I can always switch it back.

Exactly. When I swapped mine out, I didn't think to leave the chrome hood bulge on to see it in person. I guess some colors would look better than others set up like yours currently. I have Quicksand. Probably no bueno.
