I would have to agree, the Tundra can pull it no problem but if you do the math right the payload is just not enough you are either at the max or just over. I actually made the decision to trade in my Tundra today for a RAM 2500 with the 6.4lt. I will miss the Tundra but it just wasn't enough. I would have to load up the trailer and leave the bed empty. I also really want a topper and I couldn't add that to the Tundra because I would be over a significant amount on the payload.

Sometimes I regret going bigger for our second trailer because we can't fit into some parks now. I much prefer a state or national park to a RV park.

That looks like the perfect size to me, especially with a halfton.

There are 2 kinds of camper people. Those who think it is way better than a tent and those that think it is way worse than a house. Both are true. The latter usually ends up with a big trailer in RV parks, and less happy. Keep it under 25ft if you want to hit state parks and national parks.

i have a 19 footer also with 2 kids. Yes it is way too small, however it forces the kids to be outside the entire day while camping, which is the purpose :)

2 big easy ups makes a big outdoor space

The cost of these is not the problem for our trucks, it's the weight. The Propride for my trailer would weigh almost 200 lbs. I don't have the payload to make that work.

I think the total weight of my E2 is about 50 lbs.

We always hauled our axe throwing trailer with my 2008 single cab Tundra but we recently upgraded to a 2021 TRD off road Tundra and can't wait to see how she handles!

This is the truck I wanted before buying my 2020 Tundra sport. But, the wife could not drive the Ram 2500, it was just too big for her. The truck is our only vehicle. I have a company service van, so 1 vehicle is what we have. We even test drove the 2500 ram, almost pulled the trigger, but the wife said no way was she able to drive the massive truck. Oh well, the tundra will have to do.

My wife would drive the Tundra from time to time. She took out the RAM today today said it feel like the same size of the Tundra but just much taller. The extra cameras around the truck make it easy to park too

Light load and not a Tundra anymore, but it's crazy how well the 2500 tows. Brakes and Exhaust Brake works great, super stable and mountain's don't even cause the cummins to break a sweat.

Brought my next fix n flip project home yesterday. Pulled it great, guessing about 6500 pounds combined weight of the trailer and the Focus.

I rented a small RV for the family for the three day weekend. Looking at the cost of an RV, I think I'll stick with using RVShare for a while before getting serious about a purchase. I could spend quite a few nights with a rental each season in place of a monthly payment plus upkeep.

Been debating this same concept. I would have to not only pay to have the trailer but also pay to store it. Not too mention insurance and upkeep. Idk I’m still up in the air with it.

My suggestion is buying a preowned rv. The storing part is unavoidable if you don’t have a spot for it. My buddy pays $150 a month to store it. Another friend will store it at locations where his next vacation spot is. Example: His next spot is in Mammoth, Ca, so I believe he has it stored off the 395 highway. The logistics seems confusing but he’s been doing it for 5 years so far..

Buying a used Rv these days is pointless like buying a used vehicle. Unless it’s in terrible shape, it makes no sense to buy used with high prices.

I suppose on where one lives and how the rv market is playing out. In Ca since the start of the pandemic rv sales have been through the roof. Good luck on your method of purchase.
