Passport 219BHWE. Overall length is 25’-7” and a dry weight of 4,700. Cargo capacity is just over 1,300 lbs.

This is our first trailer and as big as I wanted to to tow and is at the upper end of the Tundra for payload capacity. We are happy with the features with the size of the fridge, cooktop with a small oven, outdoor kitchen, and prewired for satellite and internet. Also features power tongue jack and powered stabilizers and has good sized tanks although we don’t dry camp (yet) so don’t travel with any water on board. Passports are also prepped for a rear view camera (totally worth installing!), prepped for solar, and include a battery disconnect.

Since this is our first trailer I can’t compare it to a lot other than what I have seen at shows and experience with my in-laws’ trailers but this checked all the boxes for our family of four.

We looked at Jayco and Springdales but we preferred the fiberglass exterior over the corrugated metal. Also, Passport is an aluminum structure so I feel better about recovering from any leaks and not having to rebuild as much.

Let me know if you have other questions and I can do my best to answer.

It was a cool experience to try out. The weather in Washington has been great! It’s been nice to get away from the humidity for a while.

We went to Needle and Thread speak easy for some great drinks. Very cool place with a nice ambiance to it. 4E1ADD3B-BBC7-4513-BDB1-AA6A3299C6D9.jpg

That should only be about 600 lbs tongue weight fully loaded (including propane, full water tank, gear in the trailer). We never take more than 3 gallons of water between destinations since we never dry camp. Are you loading your truck full of gear too?

I put a trailer hitch on ours to get the bikes on the trailer and out of the truck bed.

Definitely! I have the rear and side cameras too. Dealing with Seattle traffic and gas stations has made the side cameras worth their weight in gold.

Only things in the bed were both dogs and their kennels, two folding chairs, and a small cooler with some cold stuff so about ~200lbs total.

I just have the rear camera which is nice because I like to know what is going on behind me. Based on where the cargo doors are and the side running lights I don’t think the side cameras will fit. However, the Boost tow mirrors are awesome as I can see the blind spot well and can be pulled out to see around the trailer better.

Do you guys have a stand-alone monitor for the back-up camera? My trailer is pre-wired for a Voyager system, but last I checked they only offer models with separate monitors.

I want something that connects to my phone

Mine is a stand alone (Furrion Vision S). I spent a bit more and got the 7” screen that I position right under my rear view mirror. Ideally I’d like a way to strap it over my rear view mirror so it would take up less windshield space but haven’t had to time to research options. Not sure what options there are for your phone.

Any of you who have trailers running a tire pressure monitoring system?

Nope. I check pressure before every trip and otherwise I just watch ‘em in the rear mirrors.

    I am in trouble…

Wife spotted the latest Sparks Parts box in the garage (drivers grab handle) and asked me if I was done buying “stuff” for my truck.:argue:

I froze like a deer in headlights, :eek2: she could clearly smell the fear. I was able to stammer something along the lines of, “I think so…?”

    Any advice?

Now there’s no money for my truck

Funny things is she has a new car (Subaru Forester) we bought two days after I got my truck. She wants her front windows tinted and she keeps pointing to other Subarus with AT tires and a mild lift. Might have to try your method…

Pretty sure Ironman makes lifts for those. Or at least some Subarus. Maybe wait till the next 25% off sale and buy both. I’m no mathmetitian but that’s kinda like buy 1 get 1 half off lol.

Nice! Which beach? Each fall we go camping up at Fort Stevens and head out to the beach one day. This year will be the first with the truck. Did you air down at all?

Pretty sure if I start making any suggestions our wives will make some mental connection and then I’ll get yelled at on general principle. I had to butter her up on Friday before I gave her a heads up some ammo was arriving on Tuesday. So the ice is already thin here

I'm in the same boat... It takes up decent windshield space but the benefit outweighs the cost. My phone is a reach as it sits on a stand in the dash indent.

My wife is in the same boat in that she wants tint and rims on her Highlander. I already put Toyo ATIII tires on it this past February.

Going to get the tint done ASAP but my tint and film guy has not gotten back to me. Going to give him a ring tomorrow to see when I can get her in. I want to have him add clear UV film to my rear windows since it is privacy glass only. See if he will cut me a deal do I do all of it at once.

I did 18 on the back and 35 on the front of my Tundra. I'll prob do 35 all around in her car as she's also has privacy glass and doesn't want to go as dark
