The Ac controls from the basic knobs to the ones in the limited and so on.. to have the temp gauges read the #'s instead of just turning the knobs like my sr5

Not sure on these trucks, but with other platforms I've looked into doing that, it involved basically swapping out the entire front chassis harness, maybe the whole body harness, and adding ambient temp sensors and a whole mess of other stuff. Those were also non can bus to can bus conversions, however, so it could be different with the tundras. Typically Auto HVAC requires additional sensors over manual HVAC though.

A little of this and a little of that.
I believe Ben is right, it'd be cost prohibitive. Jay, why don't you trade your truck in for a limited? lol

Now that is pretty flippin' cool. Curious to see how or if this would work on a third gen. Didn't Toyota change all the wiring between second and third generations? This would have to fall VERY high on my "need to have" list for me to consider, but I'm sure others would be interested.

I'm too lazy to go through the threads again lol, but I think someone already crossed referenced the part #s for the harnesses between the 2nd & 3rd gens. If I remember correctly there were only a couple that had different part numbers and an additional harness was needed for the 3rd gens. The costly part is the control piece on the console. This was like a few hundred from the stealership so not really a cheap mod. I like climate control but not sure that much lol
