So, I added red to the powder coat options on the website.

 

Annnnd added the front skid plate while I was at it

 

I doubt you'll find any dealer that has them in stock, but at least you can get on the waiting list ASAP. I'm going on the 3rd month now of waiting. Truck has been sitting since 3/19.

 

Mates right up to RCI front plate. No drilling required.

Sheesh! Yeah, I keep hearing it’s a 2 to 4 month wait. This is ridiculous.

 

This may have already been answered, if so I apologize in advance, but wondering about rust prevention since I live in the Northeast where salt is prevalent in the winter. Are people going with the aluminum option or is the powder coating enough to prevent it on the steel ?

 

I opted for aluminum as I too am in the Northeast.

 

I went with 1/4" alum too. Midwest here so all we have is salty roads when snow falls.

Sorry, I think I messed up when trying to quote and reply. State Farm sounds like it has the same contract policy terms as my carrier - USAA. I’m no insurance expert, though, and I’m sure each state has its own laws governing insurance coverage, though. Your best bet is to probably consult with an attorney who practices insurance law in your state and see what they say about your State Farm auto coverage. Some attorneys offer a free, initial 30-minute consult.

 

Just heard that Toyota of Richardson has a 4 to 5 month long wait. I also tried calling Sparks to get a sense of their wait time, but they don’t seem to answer the phone. You now have to leave a message.

 

Any one able to replicate the first post with the price including shipping? Just tired to order and was charged shipping.

 

First post shipping numbers are old, shipping prices went up, I was losing money shipping steel

 

And razor blades shipping aluminum……

 

@Classy63 Tyler, the success of your company is measured on the integrity of its work and for that I want to address a "Big Thank You Sir" for all the hard dedicated efforts you do. I received my front / aft 1/4" aluminum cat plates on my front porch and installed them the same day. The instructions do make it easier, especially when I used a wash bucket to support the plates up close to the truck. For a sixty year old man with lead pipes for arms, nothing to it. Looks awesome and after driving around a while i notice it quiets down the noise in the cab. Thank You Tyler

Works for me. Note that when you click on a plate it often looks like nothing changes, but if you scroll down you will see the info for the plate you clicked on.

 

Won't even load the main page. I have this same problem on my work computer. Something on his site is causing it to get blocked.

 

Strange. Working for me. Tried both Firefox and Edge with no issues.

@Classy63 - Just placed my order for 1/4 aluminium front and back cat plates. Hoping to pick them up and get installed before a 2 week road trip in late June.

 

@Classy63 just placed my order. All aluminum and hoping my cats stay intact till you send over the plates. is there any secure bolt solution yet? I missed out on the group buy of the secure bolts.

 

Well I finally placed my order today for front and rear aluminum. My reason for waiting was my insurance. I have a 500.00 deductible and if they were stolen my insurance would cover it.

After looking at some of these threads I figured if they were stolen it would cost me 500.00, then I would order the plates, wait for the dealer to get the cats in and installed. I was on my way to new wheels and tires. Oh well, I hope to have this truck for 10 years.

 

Ordered a set this morning. Thanks Tyler for making a product that provides protection for our rides and looks bad ass. We need a sticker to put on the plates for the shit birds that crawl under there to steal our cats that says, “Not today dick weed, you’ve been Valhalla’ed.”
