I understand that any SC is going to create a little extra wear & tear but the 5.7L is designed tough and, if the manufacturer offered it as an option, it can't be too terrible.
I hate it but TBH my CEL is on due to the LT headers that I installed; P0420/P0430. When I bought this truck I fully intended on modifying it but Toyota really screwed up the modification capabilities due to the programming issues.
Magnuson has moved on to using HP Tuners for the Tundra but they won't verify that that is whats being used for the 2020-2021.

Replaced my front rotors and brakes at 28k miles due to a crazy amount of shuttering every time I push on the brakes. As soon as I replaced them the shutter went away….

My son broke the woody last night, so we decided that "Dirty Diana" as he called it would make a great shifter....16215314532818843151202043804637.jpg

Did a few things over the past week or so.

    New mileage milestone

Good wash and some polish, then came Meguiars Ultimate Wax and topped it off with beadmaker.

Front end alignment! I was having some handling issues at highway speeds. Thought maybe my shocks were starting to go as I had my alignment done about six months ago. Nope, they just did a crappy job. Fresh alignment and it feels like a different truck- handles much better, even rides better. Think my suspension, steering and tires were fighting each other before. Is so smooth now I may actually see some MPG improvement. So glad I took it in, before/after pics of alignment below.

Damn. That’s not encouraging to someone who just got one haha. Did you ever find the problem with the factory brakes?

I have the ProHolder as well. Mine shook like hell no matter what I tried. I ended up cutting the ball mount and socket off and using JB Weld adhesive to glue the holder and dash mount together.

Also forgot, did some truck stuff- picked up some 16 foot lumber with a 6x12 trailer.

And here is a side pic (sorry for the bad pic) of my clean and waxed 2016

Oh that's exciting news for the 20/21 guys. Sadly my 19 is stuck with bullydog, for now. I don't see them going backwards with the tuners if they already have it done.

Installed some Firestone ride-rite airbags with daystar cradles. Gonna be sore in the morning after climbing under the truck for a while!

Emptied it out to finalize my trade in on Saturday. I bought a 20x8.5 cargo trailer last weekend and towed it, empty (3200 lbs) from Georgia to South Carolina. Got home and rage bought aDuramax. Averaging 6.3 mpg on the way back with a gas shortage wasn't great. The truck handled the trailer well, the Tundra is just way too under powered for a few hills I encountered. I kept thinking about supercharging, $7k is a lot to spend to hope it fixes the issue. With values, it is too good of a deal to get something made to pull instead of grocery shop.

Yes this phone holder sucks balls as far as it not shaking around. I may have to look into another option or do some modifying like you did.

I got these “carbon” covers on ebay... I’m not digging the glossy fake carbon look so I’m going wet sand them and paint satin black with some SEM Interior paint

Accidentally dropped my LEER camper shell onto cabin. Bad thing: it got a big dent! Good thing: was able to pull it out almost perfectly with a cheap PDR kit:

Bad thing: the kit did absolutely nothing to dents on my old (2005) Volvo tank :)

Not the prettiest but I'll clean it up later. Here is how I did mine after cutting it down. I can't beleive that it bounced that bad as expensive as it was. Some of the others on here said that theirs is solid...I have no idea how.

I'm considering this as well. How well does the cover fit? Do you feel the edges when its installed?

Feel free to just tag me after you paint and install.
