I'm going to load a golf cart into the bed of my short bed rock warrior and i need to know how much weight those loops in the bed will hold?

I saw on here somebody claimed a 200 lbs working load limit. I have no idea where they got those numbers so do with that what you will :notsure:

200lb sounds reasonable. The bulk of the weight of the cart it sitting on the bed

Bed rails, D-rings or eye hooks on the side?
I thought they had a 220lb limit for bed rail tie downs and a 440lbs for the D-rings and the ones on the side/corners of the bed.
Factory recommendations are always much less than break point to cover their asses. I’m sure it could hold more before it failed :anonymous:

Weight is based on how much it can hold back in an accident. If the truck crashed can the tie downs prevent the object from becoming a projectile. If all 4 cleats are used it should prevent an 880lbs object from coming out of the bed if properly secured. If you’re using the D-rings in concession you should be able to go up to payload if secured property. Some and maybe most would fail in a bad enough accident but the object should stay in the bed of the truck. If your straps being used had the same rating.

Be careful with them, the front ones are only rooted in thin sheet metal. Consider popping the covers off the stake pockets and rooting the boots in those. However if you use all four loops you should have no problem holding just about anything down. They are decently made. Just don’t be stupid with them.

Can the tailgate close? If not You can also run a strap around the back of the cart across the tailgate latches for a 3rd contact point
