The box is long enough just not wide enough.

Looks great! I'm super happy with mine....yeah, it's not a 100% perfect fit, but so much better than seeing chrome on my truck and cheaper than purchasing new bumpers and grille surround.

I think its the packaging. My shipment came packed in a 2 piece box that used the outer box as a
sleeve for the inner box. The outer sleeve was held up above the lip of the inner box by the strength of the grill surround (the longest part in the kit) and some packing tape to hold the sleeve attached to the inner box.
I suppose the box got squeezed from the top on the way from CA to NYC and hence created kinks in the TPO.
I have clamps on the kinks in various positions and am still trying to straghten them out but i doubt the plastic will ever get smooth because this material stretches as it bends.
I may have to buy a heat gun to fix the issue.

I also contacted the vendor with pictures as soon as I received the kit (3 weeks ago I think) and didn't get a response.

They're *very* slow. I'm guessing with all the bumper covers going out they're probably swamped.

Was disappointed in the “kinks” when I received my surround and hood bulge cover. Given the price Of the two and the fact that my bumper ends came great, it was a let down. Will utilize the heat gun and hope like crazy it will lay flat once installed

Installed my bumpershellz this morning. They fit great and I am very happy with how they turned out.

Wondering what happened to all the chatter and buzz about the bulge and grille surround covers. This thread has gone pretty silent....
Nothing much from the testers, @EC1, hmmmmmm. Mine are supposed to be coming in June- hope the shipping issue has been addressed.

I was starting to wonder the same thing. I wonder if everyone has ordered and are waiting. I haven’t ordered yet because I’m waiting for people to post reviews and pics here. Not too excited about the few people talking about a crease in the product from shipping.

I was honestly wondering if @EC1 left the company or something as he hasn’t uttered a word on here since the group buy opened up in April??? Seems kind of weird to not have replied or spoken to any of the issues that have been posted, etc. Where are you?? Lol

Just canceled my order today after over a month since I ordered. I called last week and I was told it was ready to be shipped. Today, they told me, they were out of the product. I ordered the MGM on the 22nd of April.

When I picked mine up at his shop as a part of the beta test I got a tour. There is definitely a lot that goes into the production. I know they were having trouble getting the permits for the paint booth but think that’s cleared up per some of EC1 last posts. Mine has held up great so far and I like the product for what it is and the price. I can’t speak to any shipping damage as I live about 30 minutes from the shop so was able to pick up. I’m more than happy to answer questions any of you have in regard to the product.

Yeah I guess it's not beta testing it's more of them installing them and using my truck to take pictures since I live in Sacramento.

Gotcha, I know from my conversations with him and some of the other testers they were going to modify some of machining to clean up the fit. Good luck with the install and I definitely recommend a second set of hands.

It’s not very noticeable at all. The match is actually really good, I wouldn’t worry.

Definitely test fit multiple times before peeling tape to check contours and coverage of the chrome bulge. Have someone help you if possible because you have to peel all the tape at once and then work it into position. When applying the bulge I would pay special attention to where it marries to the hood and make sure you get it seated deep enough to hide the chrome. You’ll see what I mean when you’re going through the fitting.

    Hey guys
I was one of the early adopters and ordered the TPO parts for my Limited. After removing the kinks caused by the shipping box, I finally got a chance to install all the pieces. I am happiest with the bumper caps, then the grill surround. The bulge cover just didn't feel right and it showed some chrome on top but I left it on thinking I will get used to it.

The hood bulge stayed on for a day of local driving. Day 3 on a high speed drive, the bulge cover gave out and air seemed to start pushing it up from underneath. I pulled over and (gently) tore it off and stored it in the bed.

    Some pictures below.
I haven't received a reply regarding my shipping concern from the vendor. I will report this as well to see what they say.

    Thanks
