Interesting, I discovered recently if you search “U.S. Federal Holidays” in google they provide a list of holidays but exclude Columbus Day I get that some people don’t like the fact we have a federal holiday in honor of Columbus but it IS a federal holiday. (At least as of this writing EDIT [shrug emoji]) I’m sure I’m on the thoughtcrime list now…

There where actual reports of idiots doing this today. Gas in plastic bags. I can understand desperation but was that really necessary????

Update> Leo's showed up. The wanna be manly man got charged with assault on a female and damage to personal property. The female got charged with simple assault. Even though the female tried to take cuts and damaged wanna be's car, you don't hit a female. If you think wanna be had the right to assault her.....be prepared to get excoriated here. Just sayin....

Actually, the lines at some gas stations here were linger than the chick filet lines. Unreal.

The thread title makes sense to me. I do prefer 2 layer Charmin with soft ridges. The softer the better!

I was just as surprised as you.
Although if the non beef hamburgers are made from petroleum, like Velveeta cheese, the lines may get longer.

Velveeta is one of the best non-food foods ever. Makes for great trout bait too.

Here in Hollister Calif., normally higher prices than anywhere in the Bay Area for some stupid reason, Super popped up to $4.75 at Chevron and Shell stations.
Four days before it was $4.64. The other non brand stations are running slightly cheaper.

I heard on the news that they were asking people not to fill up plastic bags, containers, etc. and thought who would be stupid enough… the funny thing is how do these people think they are going to get the gas from a trash bag into their car? :monocle:
