Yeah I sure as hell wouldn't want to police these morons if I was a gas station employee. But seeing ppl fill up bags and totes is truly unacceptable. Police should be writing up tickets for public endangerment or something.

It's not going to get any better until people stop reading their apocalyptic Facebook and Nextdoor posts and believing it to be gospel.

No, that is in the south where all this is happening. However, I have on hand 15 gallons of diesel and 35 gallons of premium fuel on hand most of the time. Always have.

Well, it is a Jeep so very logical question.

No, re-valving the CO’s with seals, cutting the back half off and re-doing that shit show.

Fawk why did it have to be a first gen? @bmf4069 we need to find this guy.

I might actually start watching the news again for this. Every time somebody from the IE (sorry @Marty McFly ) blows up their house from hoarding gas.

I've been avoiding driving the GTI because it needs a clutch bad, I guess I'll just go real easy on the skinny pedal and drive it now. 34 mpgs and 14 gallons will last a long while for me.

    We're a special breed.

But that's an insane amount of gas. How big are those tanks? 400 gallons? At around 8 lbs a gallon?

I think you're onto something there. Its probably something in the water. So many ways houses blow up in the IE. Gas hoarding, firework hoarding, cooking meth, cooking honey oil. I've seen them all.

The stupidity of humanity never ceases to amaze me…..I stopped at 4 gas stations on the way home and all were out of gas. The fifth had a half mile back up. Called the next town over on the way to my parents and the station had it. In and out in less than 10 minutes…..$2.99 a gallon.

Most people had their trucks / cars and multiple gas cans to fill up. Hopefully in a week all this will be behind us ans we can go back to some sort of normalcy.

Up at the ranch I’m always setting on 50 gallons of 89 octane that’s treated, I run through it and refill it constantly. We’ve got 4 atv’s and 2 JD mowers going all the time plus string trimmers, chainsaws, and generators. I’ve also got a 250 gallon diesel tank for the tractor that I get filled when needed so I think I’m good for a while. At home in Houston I always keep at minimum 25 gallons for the lawnmower, generator and just plain stupid shit like this. The FRACKING SHEEP who can’t pull their heads up from their phones to see what’s coming deserve to get hit by the train. I learned a long time ago in the boy scouts Always be prepared, pay attention to not just your local news but read up on world events, listen to something other than the fox bs propaganda and think about what’s coming next.

Chicken shortage too because all the fast food hamburger joints think there is such a thing as a chicken burger. Can't wait for plant based chicken burgers at hamburger joints. The insanity is spreading......where's the f'ing beef!

There is a game on a radio station here where they read f'd up stories from the news and you have to guess if it happened in Florida or Germany. Always entertaining.

Texas. Several years ago some fools thought climbing up on top a full fuel farm tank holding several million gallons of gas, setting up some chairs , cooler of Shiner, and shooting off fireworks on the 4th of July was a great idea.....
