Not a good time to drive a lifted Tundra in my area. The gas shortage has hit and most stations are now dry. The few remaining all have long lines as people make a run for gas. This is crazy especially right before the Memorial day weekend.

BTW, for those of you with iPhones, ask Siri when "Memorial Day" is? Typical Apple....

Middle Virginia. This hit fast as folks begin to make a run (just like the toilet paper). If this last for more than a week, it will begin to seriously affect commerce. I'm parking the Tundra and luckily the daughter is home from school with a Prius.

The gas is there, it's the delivery system that got hampered a bit.
I have a theory on this mask needed or mask not needed thing going on.
If the powers that be say "no more masks" can you imagine the stock of masks throughout the world that would be worthless?
    Think about it.

As soon as I heard about the truck driver shortage I could smell toilet paper 2.0 a mile away! Now this pipeline hack really has people going. Glad I live in NW wa which is near one of the few refineries in the US. That I start a new job 3 Miles from home next week won’t hurt.

not a bad theory, but the powers that be want us buying stuff from them, even if we throw it away.

I believe the real reason for the obsession with masking among other things is that they are so deep in the lie that by letting up at all now the masses will question just how much has been a lie this whole time

I stopped for gas at a Sam's on Monday because I actually needed it. I had to wait in line. Usually there are 1 or 2 cars at those pumps. I thought that it was just bad timing, did not realize until yesterday that people are starting to panic buy gas.

Yep, I am in Richmond VA. People are hoarding, buying up all the gas cans at lowes and other places and waiting in long lines to fill up their cars and gas cans.

I am sure the next thing will be folks stealing gas from cars, then a run on sales of locking gas caps.

Yeah, parents in law live in Mechanicsville and they're saying the same thing. Luckily they pretty much drive only to get groceries and maybe the occasional hobby.

Hope he treats that gas. The ethanol will start absorbing water inside a month.

Didn't know about this until yesterday when my truck was 40 miles to empty and I saw 100 cars outside WaWa. People acting like maniacs driving around here and trying to fill unapproved fuel containers with gas.

    VA.... smdh :goingcrazy:

There is that for sure. Great point.

Never mind the 275 gallons that will bend/break that small axle trailer. I will be surprised if he gets it home.

Prices are up here but it's because two of our three refineries are in turnaround.

Yea, , I have numerous portable cans that I keep for emergency purposes such as a Hurricane. However I refuse to fill them up in this case because it just contributes to the problem.

I believe I heard that both the Imperial (ExxonMobil/Esso) and Suncor (Petro-Canada) refineries are in turnaround right now.

Lots of good breweries around here too. :D
