Do you name your rigs

Nothing ever had a name, except my sled and she was the Black Pearl. Sadly ,she has been sold.......

 

OH wait, forgot about Ruby !

 

My wife refers to her as my "girlfriend" for a good ribbing but not in an official capacity. As I've always wanted a tundra, I've spent a pretty penny on it in the last month. My wife says I'm "showering her with gifts". My wife isn't wrong about the $$ but I just refer to it as a rig.

hahah I'm guilty of naming all of my cars during my younger years and sad to say, I remember them all . My last Evo X was the last car I named and never got around to naming my M4 or my Tundra. I'm not sure what I would even name my Tundra though..

 

Oh I was tryin, but was only getting closer to China than going backwards !

 

So, mine was named in honor of my first dog I ever had the pleasure of taking care of that passed away in 2017. Hence, why I bought a 2017 1794 Black/Tan interior.

To me she was the greatest dog in the world.



I am considering purchasing another Toyota in brown for my 2nd dog that passed away in 2020 but covid seems to want to make that harder and harder.



I respect other's decisions for naming/not naming and this is mine.

 

My nephew names all the vehicles in my family. He was 7 when he came up with mine, "Thunder" since it's grey like storm clouds.

Thanks for asking! The black/tan is Cali and the brown/white is Casi. They now rest comfortably on my mantle.

 

I have a chicken named Casi!.. but its short for ‘Casserole’.
Cute pups of yours, humans dont deserve dogs honestly. Theyre the best.

 

Ha ha, we did sometimes call her casserole. Especially when she went rolling in the grass after a bath. I definitely agree with you. They've fulfilled my life in ways no other human bean ever could. Although, we do have a long term foster right now that does test our patience and it doesn't help that she doesn't get along with my current pups most of the time.

Still with that fact, I'd never let her go to a furever home unless it was perfect for her.

 

Truck is Ron, Camry is Paul, and Volkswagen is Arnie... They all have their own inside jokes/backstories that i wont bore you with.
