I figured I'd be lucky to get one before the model year changeover...but a little extra work (calling every dealer in the country) paid off. You never know.

Just got back from my kid's T-ball practice. Saw a Lunar Rock 4runner in the parking lot. Such a good color!

That reminds me - I need to get my insert set offered up to someone. Now that I’ve got the a-bomb door handle and cup holder inserts, I’ve pulled at the rest of the red and black rubber stuff out.

Think I’m going to add a Rago plate to the dash “indent” and don’t really need anything down in the doors

do you have a link for the back of the seat storage? I’ll need a couple of those for the kids.

    What up everyone!

Today is a great day......just got the call that my truck arrived at the dealership. I’ll be picking it up after work. Looonnnnggg wait.....placed deposit back in September.

I have my work cut out for me with all the add-ons that have been piling up in the garage.

    Cheers

I'm pretty sure the supply wasn't actually a problem till the panic buying started. Its the toilet paper scenario all over again. They manually opened some of the pipeline too, and are working to recover the IT system that was compromised. I think fuel will be fine by next week and Tundras will be back to being sold out for 15% more than msrp.

Truck looks great! I used to love adventures like this. Now I have kids, but at some point they'll be old enough that we can explore together. Thanks for sharing.

Don't give them an excuse, just bring them along, at first our kids weren't too thrilled when we started hitting trails years ago, our oldest was in her teens so you can imagine the death stares when I look into the rear view mirror, now they look forward to road trips that is purely for us to explore, they will look back at it fondly.

We started road tripping with our kids when the youngest couldn’t walk yet. It’s in their blood now!

And they learn to appreciate nature, which has an interesting knock on effect about wanting to learn things on how to preserve it and spread awareness.

i.e. when we go shooting, my son pick up our casings and whatever others left behind without me mentioning a word.

That’s awesome. It’s so good when they pick up new appreciation on their own, vs trying to push it into them. Good kid

I feel a bit sneaky here. I’m not officially in the club until tomorrow when I take delivery, but my buddy is a dealer and sent me this to make sure the look was what I wanted. Not going to sleep well tonight, that’s for sure.

    WELCOME!

Depends on where I'm at... At work, I'll park with an empty space on either side. In the general public, I tend to be out away from the crowd.
