What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Thanks! We have so many folks that provide wonderful inspiration. Always fun to see what people do with there rigs. Especially when it is an option you've been considering (like the brass monkey on the TSS wheels). I'm hoping to get some more interior work done soon and then to work on color matching front!

 

Add TRD Front Sway Bar. Dang that thing is beffy compared to the stock one.

 

But does it make a difference in the ride? most say it doesnt so I havent done it.....

 

When I installed my sway bars I did the front first and left it on for a couple of days before I did the rear. The front does make a decent difference. The rear makes an even bigger impact on stability though. They’re both really good buys but if you’re only going to buy one, buy the rear.

 

I have the rear just havent done the front (yet)

 

She got a Rigid conversion today thanks to a good deal from charliebison.

 

Can I get a link for the Valhalla shields? And rough price shipped?

I'm not normally inclined to get these but chances are it's going to sit for a week down at Lake Powell this summer and I'd like to have piece of mind. Anyone know if Powell's been targeted at all?

Installed my CBI full skids and RCI Fuel Skid myself this past week, what an awesome addition to the truck. Offers some Cat Theft deterrence as well.

I was hoping CBI would have a gas skid soon!!! May have to go with a RCI myself.

 

I thought the same thing.

Also, to those that don't have the OE skid plate, be sure to add to your budget for the OE fuel tank straps that have thread studs to mount RCI skid to. Really easy to replace the straps and install the skid.

Unpacked the Boost Auto towing mirrors! Got to get to painting so I can get them on.

 

Got the last of the stuff needed for suspension install.

Is there any reduction in road noise with the plates on?

 

Anecdotally, I would say it seems to have a bit less perceived road noise...

Got the Bakflip MX4 installed on the Pro, today.. Its been sitting in the garage just waiting for some free time, for about a month. Promptly filled the bed with boxes and junk from the garage for a dump run, too. It never ends.

 

Snagged this Bakflip MX4 off of Craigslist yesterday for $140.00. Came with all hardware including the brackets to lower my in bed accessory rail system. Spent another $10.00 at Lowe's for some weather stripping to go across the front of the bed. Hardest part of the install was removing and relocating the accessory rails.

Guy I got it from bought a shell and said he was tired of storing the Bakflip in his shop.

 

Installed my Rhino Rack I purchased from @CorsoTundra last week! Going to work great for what I need and I’m digging the look too!

Also changed out my Iarmour Steps for some Tyger Blades the other day.

New shoe day. Went from 275/65r18 to 295/70r18 Discoverers, then detailed it too. Finally got all of the pig hunt mud from last year out....

I put my newly vinyl wrapped stock bumper back on. Also posted my N-Fab M-RDS bumper for sale in 3rd generation Marketplace if anyone is interested.

 

Total score! This is my second Mx4, and they're worth every penny, but they aren't cheap either. Fortunately, I have a friend who's family owns a dealership, so I pay cost and landed a rebate promo, too. Still WAY more than you paid!

 

So how’s this been working out for you? Does the app module work well? Seriously considering this same kit.

 

So I had previously removed the “tundra” letting on the front doors and today I removed the “limited” badges on the back doors. I’m still contemplating removing the engine badges or keeping them on there....

One week into the 30 day wait for my dirty deeds exhaust!
