With more of us shopping online more than ever it's important to be aware of counterfeit parts. Here is a good video to help identify and avoid buying a inferior part.

That guy makes good Toyota videos. Everyone should grab a favorite beverage and check out his library.

This was already discussed here by somebody else.

I think that same video was tagged.
Perhaps @AzureNightmare or @NewImprovedRon have it stored in their think juice box?

Hmmm... I just look through actual stealerships websites across the U.S. and find cheaper prices in the midwest stealerships rather than buying from Amazon or ebay

We should have a source listed on the forum for sourcing genuine Toyota Parts. Make it a sticky so forum members easily researched where to buy their authentic parts from.

I have to purchase a set of brakes for my father's Corolla and with the dealer over 200 kilometers away I have to purchase online.

I bought wiper assemblies for my wife's Corolla from Sparks Parts because at that time it was cheapest (even with the exchange rate) then got hosed on the duty. But I would think every Toyota dealer should offer online parts ordering and delivery.

It's the shipping costs on heavy brake parts that's costly in Canada. If the dam border would open I can get better deals in the US and have it shipped to my box just across the border.
