Awe. Sad day. Just realized that all my funnies will be missed because this kicked to a new page. :(

For any who care, page 9 has some funnies. Go, look, laugh. Then tell War Machine how funny they were!

Spent the weekend south of Green River UT riding with my parents, did about 120 miles. Also found a deal on some King IBPs so getting those and sending them to KDM Shocks to get rebuilt, colors changed, and revalved--then onto collecting 72" parts to convert the ham!

Adam convinced me to post this here. Since there's mostly good guys on this forum I'll share my recent purchase/mid life crisis.
This much money on a toy I need my head examined. I needed something for work and play, I think this fits the bill perfectly.

Picked it up like this already shitting on a Razor, made it look like a kids toy lol. No offense to anyone with a Razor, I'm just talking shit, have plenty friends with them and we like to banter. It was full of mods, plus 2 extra big boxes not in pic.
    20210501_140920.jpg
It really did make the Polaris look like a 90cc though.
    20210501_140904.jpg

Already put a rear bumper and 20+ miles in the 1st day getting it home. Plenty more miles and mods to go.

I can't wait to let her rip. I got either another 4 hours or about 70 miles to finish the break in period to let her eat.

    20210501_165754.jpg

My garage is definitely my favorite room in the house.
    20210501_204444.jpg

I've officially run out of room for more offroad toys. I've already begun thinking how much more space I'd gain by knocking the wall down if not load bearing between sides lol.

Has anyone been out riding recently? Weather has been nice, but I am working nights right now, so I'd love some pics so I can live vicariously. :bikewhoops:

So - got a question and This seems like most appropriate place to ask it.

How difficult is it to replace plastics on a 4 wheeler? Doesn’t look too bad - just wanna get some more experienced opinions before I bring it down here and start the project.

So basically - a little over a year ago I was down at the salvage auction and saw a 2016 Artic Cat 500 going for sale that day - marked as a no start/no drive - but didn’t look bad. So I started chatting up one of the guys - turns out they had zero clue - just going in what the seller (a local credit union) told them.

Minimum bid was $100 and no bids - so I thought what the hell - worst case it’s junk and I if I win - someone will take it off my hands for what I have in it - so bid and won!

Getting the lien release from bank - got the full story from the manager (gotta love small town credit unions). So they financed it new for customer - customer got behind on payments and they simply took it back for the note. They tried selling - but too many tire kickers and no serious offers, manager just sent it down with a car they had rep’d to dispose of and was happy to see it gone. No issues other than cosmetics.

So it’s been sitting out at the farm for a year now in garage - was just going to try and find someone bored who wanted to do the work - buy the parts and split the profit with them - but few I know who have the skills are just too busy.

Thinking of just tackling it myself now - clean it up, make it shiny and put it out with a price OBO and see if I can make a few $$. Parts probably around $800-1k at last check - I’m thinking 2500 obo is fair fixed up. If it don’t sell - keep it as a memento of my handiwork.

Seems everyone wants a SxS or a bigger ATV - and 500 is viewed as “too small”. I actually prefer the smaller size - allows me to actually go into woods and not confined to a widened trail for the Gator and is still large enough to have power - while not being so large it isn’t manageable. Fact it’s an AC doesn’t scare me - I wouldn’t pay thousands for a new one over say other makes - but at the price/need it’s fine.

Haven't even started this thing in a while, took it out once with the Toyo SXS MTR and was very pleased.

Pics would help a ton. So it runs good, just looks a little beat up? If I understand correctly? If you fix it up with new plastics, and it runs well, I'd be thinking more like $4k would be fair.

@mgm16trdpro I saw you put a bed extender on your Can Am. What other goodies do you have planned? What are you planning to do with that thing? Work around the property? Run trails? Around town scooter?

    Trying not to mod it
I've got a buddy who is having surgery on the 1st, so I am taking some vacation to be able to go visit and help him out. Bonus, this weekend he and I will be getting in at least one ride before he is laid up and can't ride for a while. I'll try to remember to take pics so I can share.
