'Round these parts you leave them be. Good food for the lawn.

I beg to differ. It’s the same soil in the plugs that’s in the soil below. Nothing good for the lawn as they are the ‘same as the lawn’ and they just flatten to biscuits and make lumps.

Finishing up a new section of French drain to address some issues. Tying it into the existing system we put in last summer. Hoping the kids won’t have to wear their rubber boots in the backyard from October to April any longer once I’m done.

It's not so much the soil itself, but the roots and grass that will break down and provide nutrients to the lawn.

We've been painting our new house for 8 days now. I'm on the stairs and I really didn't think this through. I'm trying to figure out how I can reach the side walls without dying. Not the wall the ladder is leaning on but the ones on each side. It's going to be interesting.

I have a similar arrangement in my FROG. I had to get creative just to change a light bulb.

I did something similar in mine. To get the whole thing, I had that and a board running back to the upstairs floor and to the extension ladder rungs. When I needed higher, I got another ladder. I have a light at the top of thr stairs that will be just for anesthetics until I ha e more of a reason to climb up there to change it. I'm considering building a simple platform to put on the stair to level it out for a regular 6' ladder to sit on

Got a new couch. Had to wait a few weeks after going to Living Spaces for it but it’s exactly what we wanted. That cat also approves.

New toilets are great. Tile in the guest bathroom is a little uneven, and the flange was in pretty bad shape. Glad there was a licensed master plumber doing the work, and not some jackwagon like myself. Both toilets sit and work nicely! Turns out he did the master bathroom remodel in this house a few years back as well, so we know the master bath plumbing is too notch.

Fresh off "never touch a dialysis shunt" portion of your EMT book? Or maybe you heard another student's story during CPR class that started like this.. "one time my uncle's neighbor's friend came across a guy who was on dialysis..."? which prolonged class by 12 minutes so you missed snack break?
