I don’t know how you could stiffen up the gas pedal. We don’t have return springs like the carburetor or standard throttlebody days. Flyby wire. But I assume it’s because your throttle is touchy? Look into the pedal commander if this is the case. You can dial back the sensitivity.

It’s an electronic pedal. Nothing to “stiffen”. Any changes would be done with tuning to change throttle percentage based on pedal position.

I had a cut pedal from the floor mat recall that was touchy in my 07. I replaced it with a 04000-0440C Pedal Assembly Accelerate for $39 shipped and now it's muchhhhhh smoother, and not cut off on the bottom.

@Treknot >>> Pedal Commander, iDrive, or HikeIt throttle controllers will correct that. Comes down to if you want bluetooth capability for another $100+, or more pedal sensitivity options without bluetooth.

Side Bar>>>>>BTW.....Throttle mapping controllers DO NOT INCREASE HP! Has nothing to do with that. No one should buy these thinking that there is a HP increase. Duh! :homer::duh:

Heavier wheels, and 35 s tamed my throttle responce quite a bit.

lol... I'm not concerned with tuning or engine response, just the mechanicals of touching the pedal with my size 13... wish I could exactly match the one on my 07 4runner

found it. Was this originally a tundra part, or for multiple vehicles or what? but I bet the local dealer here will match this or come close - the Parts dept is the one functioning dept in the dealership which otherwise is abysmal

It is a tundra part but looks like an interchange, will fit 08-19 Sequoia as well.
