finally got around to installing the grille surround (shiny black) it matches really good (the truck is just super dirty)
and the rear bumpers (TPO). The rain caught us before my son and I could begin installing the front bumpers (TPO), will install the front ones after I wash the truck. Pretty simple install and the fit was perfect!!! Loving the look!

How are the covers surviving car washes? Here in NYC the car wash dryers are extremely strong and I'm wondering if the covers will stay stuck? Received my set in TPO with a few kinks in the grill surround and waiting to undo those before installing.

Same here regarding kinks in the surround. Hoping to get it straight and get it installed. Mock up appeared to fit well though.

mine looked like it had some kinks to it too but after installing, they seemed to have disappeared, maybe after the sun warmed it up.

Yeah, mine have some kinks from shipping. Waiting for some sun to hopefully straighten them out before installing. Shipping box should be bigger.

mine had the same kinks, I used a heat gun and got them close, it’s starting to warm up here so I’m hoping the 100 degree weather finishes straightening them out

Looks great! I'm in NYC and waiting for a really hot day to installing the plastic when it's as pliable as possible.

Finally got the motivation to install the bumpershellz end caps and grill surround/bulge. Wish I could say I was 100% satisfied, but when the grill surround arrived, it was bent in the box and the even leaving out in the sun for a while didn’t seem to relax it all the way (as you can see in the red circle).
Also, I was meticulous with cleaning and installing, followed the directions to a T and even watched a couple videos before starting. I still had a small issue with the hood bulge. You can just see a little chrome if you look hard enough from the cab side.
All in all, the texture of the TPO looks great. It all ties together really well.
After the year we’ve had, I’m trying to not let little things get to me so I’ll probably leave it all be.

I think the color looks great. I have heard the bend issue from others. The only question that I have to that is how much more in shipping are/were you willing to pay to not have the bend? I just ordered 05/01/21 so I expect that mine will be the same. I don't have an answer to my own question, so it is more than fair if you don't have one.

Thanks, it’s definitely there, you can push it down and it bounces back up. Hopefully some time in the heat will fix.

I hope the heck they fix this shipping issue. I have a set on order and am very nervous now if they are coming in small boxes with kinks and bends! @EC1 will take care of this issue I’m sure!

This is the reason I haven't found the motivation to install my set. A simple packing foam stick or something similar could have kept the box rigid enough not to cause the kinks.

Still waiting for some hot weather to do the install.

So, it's not the size of the box? It's how it's packed?

That is disappointing to see, I have been considering the grill surround or just buying a new OEM grill. I would kind of like to keep the Limited grill and just cover the chrome surround, but if this part is problematic I may have to go with a new OEM Platinum grill.

Think I'll keep an eye on this for a while and see if things are remedied with this product before making my decision.
