Plenty planned thanks to all of you.
Since I'm picking up my TT on Monday I thought it was time to add some proper towing mirrors (Toyota). I like them, but damn are they big. Luckily I can still sneak into my garage with a little clearance on each side.

    IMG_20170414_205205736.jpg IMG_20170414_205235463.jpg

They went on really easily and do add some great features that the stock mirrors lacked. I also used my night alone (wife and son went to the movies) to debadge (chrome) and rebadge (black) the truck.

    IMG_20170414_205222160.jpg

I was going to delete the Tundra logo but am having second thoughts. But I'm a dumbass and forgot to measure and taking notes, does anyone have measurements for the Tundra emblems on the driver and passenger side door?

Attempted to fit my truck in the garage at our new apartment complex we are moving into next week.. the dimensions were 10'x20' so I knew it would be a tight fit to begin with. Long story short, the truck did not fit. The funny thing is, it wasn't even an issue with the height of the truck, it was the length that caused the issue. I was pretty much touching the back wall of the garage and still could not close the garage door without it hitting the truck. Luckily it wasn't too late and we switched the single garage out for two carports for both vehicles to be covered instead of just one, problem solved

A garage is always your best bet, but don't think the landlord would appreciate drywall and stud removal........ Glad the other unit was available to you and a carport beats nothing at all. Best of luck with your move Morgan,

Thanks! Yeah if it were a house I would update the garage to make it fit, but since we are in an apartment not much I can do. Definitely wish the truck would have fit in the garage, but a carport will do until we are able to afford a house.

I like it! Blacked out bumpers ties in really well with your spyder taillights and bed stamp compared to the chrome

Anything is better than chrome in my opinion. But I'm struggling with replacing the end caps with new ones (black for contrast or color matched) OR getting them powder coated (black or color matched).

Your's look great black against red is always a winning combo IMHO.

Andrew, not that you'll need the help because the door panels do come off pretty easily, but this video - which has been shared a lot - is useful. And who doesn't like eye candy who can also wrench ;-)

Really. I like chrome on silver, red, and blue tundras. White, grey, and black I like color matched. I kinda don't like black bumpers on any color.
