I think the GM invisible trailer feature is overrated. I much prefer having my separate Furrion monitor on the windshield for watching behind me and not tying up my dash screen.

Personally I am happy with most of the interior on mine. For me the issue is the center dash section, they really fell short of the Ram.

I don't care about any of that stuff so it wouldn't bother me but so many people are apparently switching to Ram to get that centre tablet and a nice-looking interior.

Spraynard wants teh 5.7 punched out to 7.5 in big block format and will feature maximum sustained rev limit of 8000 rippums.

There will be ZERO provision for cooling the transmission. In fact, kerosene-fired transmission heaters will be mandatory equipment and will operate continuously as long as the engine is running.

Payload will remain unchanged at 36 grams.

But what size tires can I fit? Why can’t I get Prius level mpgs with the truck?

What's the best oil, how often should I change it and should I let the dealership do it?

Toyota will invent a sealed engine. No dipstick. No oil changes. Confirmed.

the big 12” touchscreen is super nice in our new Highlander hybrid. I’d gladly take that display in my tundra.

Yes, the application was filed in the U.S. in 2020, but it claims priority to a Japanese app. from 2019... so it was effectively filed in 2019. Also, the application is really directed to an allegedly-novel way of handling supercharger lubricant drainage, and not the engine itself.

I work patent prosecution and look at this stuff daily.

I agree with the industry expert's assessment. It will be March 2023 before the new Tundras are in plentiful supply.

I have the new Tundra on order, I currently own a 2019 Tundra. I’m hoping the rumors that just surfaced of a twin turbo v8 are true.

Not at all. You realize that this new Tundra Platform will be available for years right? This TTV8 could easily be used in future model years. It's not all about the 'launch' year.
