I'm trying to decide if I should replace the fender flare that was ruined in the crash, or just take off the flares all together..

I feel like if I keep them, I'll need spacers to make it look right. Tire are currently 33x12.5x18

I think they help protect the fenders, but maybe not?
I can't decide what looks better, and I can't tell what brand these flares are either..

    Curious about your thoughts.
Looking for running board or tube step suggestions also

Sorry for the bad pictures, I don't have good ones yet

Take a look at the paint where the damaged flair was, they're notorious for damaging paint if no paint protection was used at install, dirt and other stuff gets between the paint and flair and scratches surface up, so depending on how long they've been in place you might not be happy when you remove them.

I did check on that, you can tell where the rubber seal was touching the fender, but it's not scratched. It should buff out pretty easily I think

Completely personal preference. Myself, I see other Tundras and they look naked without them, provided the wheels are correctly offset.

Pearpower - Question. What's the dimensions on the wheels? Also, how much lift did you do? Appreciated.

Shim is for the lift, not offset.

I think they look good if the wheel/tire package has the offset to match them.

If the flares stick out way further than the tires, it looks stupid as hell.

That said... there is a benefit to not having them... and having the tires poke out a little.

Several months ago I got sideswiped on the highway. Car tried to occupy the space I was already in... going 65mph. It didnt work out too well for him. He got big black doughnut marks on the left side of his silver car.

Not a single scratch on my truck... and a little Tire Shine took care of the dull smear on my sidewalls.
And naturally... being Atlanta... the guy never stopped. Just took off.

I had previously considered putting flares on my truck, but after the doughnut incident, I'm leaving it as-is.

No way. They look nice on alot of our trucks. As mentioned, wheel offset is a factor in the looks. I run a 0 offset with mine. I have my flares Line-X'ed.

Maybe the greatest movie of all time.

They do keep the side of the truck from being torn up by the more aggressive tires.

Nice Truck PearlPower! Beautiful! I just added them to my 2018 Magnetic Grey Double Cab. 295/70/18's with 1.5" spacers. (Adjustable 3" ICON Lift). I hope the truck looks half as good as yours. Nice build.

I like the flair. Kept the original wheels (my wife stepped in..) put the Grapplers on it looks nice- I think I need a bit wider tire at some point but I can wait till I get out of the dog house before going that way!
