Any more photos? I wanted to do something exactly like this, but everyone keeps telling me how ugly camper shells are. From this perspective yours looks pretty cool to me!

219bhwe. Box is about 22’ long, right at about 27’ with spare/ladder and tongue included.

Towed great, although it was limited to the dealer to my house and then to my storage location. So probably only about 12 miles total and nothing over about 45 or on the freeway. Gain on the controller was set at 5.5. I have an Equalizer WDH which worked well.

I bought some clip on tow mirrors from Amazon but ended up not using them. I have Boost mirrors arriving Thursday and plan to put them on before the first trip.

I would love this set-up if you could have dirt bikes on the same trailer.

Finally got the tent swapped over to the truck, so here's our current set up (minus the awning which gets re-attached Thursday)

If anyone ever spots a Four Wheel Camper Hawk model in their area for sale, please PM me. My wife and I are on the hunt. Not waiting 16 months for a new one to be built haha. Thanks

Their Gear Exchange section has a "stickied" thread that keeps track of Craigslist FWC postings. The key to buying a used FWC is having cash in hand and be ready to run. They've been disappearing as quick as they're posted. Good luck!

    https://www.wanderthewest.com/forum/forum/15-gear-exchange/

There's a 2012 Hawk posted on there now!

Took the Mrs camping for Mother's Day. Let the kids have Friday night but unloaded them on the grandparents Saturday night.

So nice to go camping without the fighting!

Towed our 2020 Surveyor Legend 19BHLE behind the Tundra for the first time. Didn't even realize it was behind me compared to when I pulled with the Highlander.

With the TRD Sway bar and the Airlift air bags, I'm ready for a bigger camper!!

Thx! It's a nice local campground that has a private beach on a small lake where the max is 5 mph. About 25 minutes from the house.

It just looks bada$$ driving it around every day but I don't get it either. I got a 6-person NF tent for under $200 that weighs less than 20 lbs and takes up very little cargo space. I can camp next to my truck or backpack into the wild with it

There's a ton of pros for a RTT. Ultimately it was a week long trip that made me cave and bought one. 6 different spots in the desert, I couldn't be bothered to unpack and pack the tent especially since it was past mid night when we would arrive to a few spots. Another reason is you're elevated off the ground. My rtt was only $800 and I am very pleased... my buddies tent was $5k. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Thanks but don't need the luck. Is a rtt the greatest thing since sliced bread? Not even close but it's a very comfortable way to sleep away from home. An it's a camping setup many enjoy. In my situation the tent has paid for itself in saved hotel fees. It took one year and now I'm saving a lot of money every trip.

However later this year I may be adapting the camp setup again and the RTT will be going away in favor of a more stealth type setup. Consequently the sale of the RTT will completely pay for the new setup. Hopefully I'm making the right choices cuz I really enjoy the roof top tent. But I think the new setup will allow even more freedom and money saved

Don't get me wrong, I love camping. My wife and I tent camp and my family's lake lot where we spend most weekends in the summer has no power and no running water. I just don't want any blonde bimbos around complaining about their manicures or whatever.
