Traded for a clean 2006 DC it’s a 2wd with about 112k on it. I put a cold air intake on it, new dual exhaust and added a new head unit. I went with a Sony XAV AX1000 and installed a back up camera. Anyone know of a trim piece that will cover the gaps on the side?

Looking at a leveling kit and some new wheels and tires. I’ve got an old truxedo bed cover on currently, but would like a camper I think if I could find a used one for a reasonable price. Also it has a drop in plastic bed liner and and some chrome rails and step bars. Looking to modernize the look. It’s looking rather like grandpa truck currently. Any budget friendly tips on any of those issues would be appreciated. Truck is white with ok paint. I’ll try to get some pictures up.

So far I’m loving the truck and I’m loving browsing the forum.

Welcome to the forum and Tundy ownership. Pull the towel bars off your bed rails and replace with some OEM bedrail caps. They will cover any mounting holes that may be present. I've got the older style center bezel opening, not as big as yours on the 06 and didn't require a trim ring. Amazonian likely has some trim kits for your 06. Or Crutchfield.

I cut up the foam from my stereo to fill the gaps. Free trash and it looks great.

I have the same head unit except my usb comes out of the rear. It’s a great deck for the price. That metra kit should fit that’s what I have I believe.
