Sorry for the delay! Yes, the Toyota TRD tip will fit. There are two "c" pieces that sit behind the flare that it clamps on to. Great fit and finish, easy install.

Update on the truck: Bilstein has shipped the rear shocks, the rear Ranch Hand sport series rear bumper has also shipped. If all goes well the rear lift will happen this weekend, depends on if the shackles arrive. The Hella driving lights for the front bumper will go on also this weekend. Got a lot going on with the headache rack plans too, waiting on the rack to ship though. Already got super bright work/off road lights that are slim and will mount back to back for two way lighting leaving space on the rack for lumber, ladders, kayak, etc. Also got two faced marker/turn lights that will mount on the outside at the top of the rack. The rack is going to be fastened to custom fabricated HD bed rails mounted in stake pockets. The rails will tie the rack together with angled square tube stock to transform the headache rack into roll over protection also, it will be substantially stout when all is completed, much more than just glass protection and ladder support. There will also be a removable rear rail directly across the top of the tailgate to carry heavy loads. Got a prebuilt 6 gang switch panel/box from Amazon for $30 for all my exterior auxillary lights, its small, good quality, and will mount easily with mounting tape probably right beside drivers knee without any problem and within easy reach while at the helm. As for tires, I park this truck on my driveway and the stock size isn't terrible, especially for towing. So, to help prevent tire/wheel theft it might be wise to keep them as is. Yes, got wheel locks, also planted two semi tires halfway into the lawn right at the edge of the driveway that line up perfectly with my truck to barricade access to two rims. These also serve as places to sit and watch the kids play. Chose tires because I didn't want my children falling into bricks or rocks 18" off the ground while playing outside. Took some work, but turned out nice and keeps the rims on the truck while I sleep. All in all, it's coming together, and we should be doing some traveling in a comfortable and safe truck this Summer. Limited only by the pandemic of course!

The verdict is in: The Ranch Hand rear bumper arrived today (not exactly sure how, miraculously fast!), anyway it is every bit as solid as the front. If you want aftermarket, these are going to give your truck and it's occupants serious protection folks. I have looked at many options and I assure you all the photos don't show you what is under the skin. The Ranch Hand is all beef and no Chinese stamped crap. Wish I would have been able to score their headache rack too, tried but not available. No offense to those other manufacturers, I get it, the market is full of options for everyone and their needs, but if you want to have a "truck" bumper or two, I suggest these be considered. Yes, they do lead to suspension mods due to the weight and design, but I look at that as an added bonus! To each his own! Pics coming soon!

Had the 3.5" Rough Country lift installed today. This is the full strut front with N3 shocks and rear is a block with the V2 monotube shocks. Lots of room for the 35's which are going to be installed this week. The kit appears of good quality. The UCAs and components are all made in USA, the front shocks are China, and rears are made in Thailand (wut). Time will tell, I know RC is a touchy subject but I don't mind trying it out. I'm not going to offroad and won't pretend like I will. 100% pavement. Had Toytec/Bilstein w/spc UCA on my FJ with no complaints...unfortunately that kit is triple the price in Canada now.

I just spoke to an auto tire place today about spacers. They're highly respected in this area and they stated they don't like to install them. The issue is some yahoo who doesn't refit things correctly if you're ever dealing with tire rotations (on/off). They also state the bearing load could be more stressful with a spacer as compared to a custom offset wheel.

I want spacers because they're way more cost affective compared to a new set of wheels but I don't want reliability problems. I'm kind of picky on my wheel choices for the Tundra too. There's only a handful I'd run on it and there's honestly not a ton of good looking choices like there are for other pickup truck brands. Not sure why that is...

Under no circumstances am I cutting on your tire shop, but there is nothing to worry about with quality hub centric spacers. As long as they are installed per the instructions they are a perfectly safe modification. There are some guys on here and Tacomaworld that run spacers and beat their trucks harder than I ever will and they are fine. There is no refitting anything as they stay on the hub when the tires are rotated. As for the bearing load, I don't buy it. Stock wheels are +60, with spacers they become +28. Some guys are running -12 with no ill effects.

Thanks for this input... So for my 2020 Tundra, what spacers would you recommend? Spydertrax? Also, what is the size I should run?

Yes, either bora or spidertrax are the recommended brands. I'm running the spidertrax. Spidertax only offers one size (1.25") bora offers several sizes. I'll post another pic for you to see if 1.25" is what you want

Nothing personal, just basic science...wheel spacers move the rim further away from the bearing. Think of it as a teeter totter or lever the further away the force or weight is located, the more load will be placed on the bearing. Does it matter? Probably not a whole bunch under unloaded circumstances, but if you were going to tow or haul heavy often it would add additional stresses to the load bearing areas and offsetting wheels do the same thing. But you also gain stability with a wider footprint, so as with nearly everthing in life, it becomes a pros and cons game. As long as your happy and not causing harm to yourself or others, do or say as you like. Those who care don't matter, and those who matter don't care! Rock on!

My build update: Received my Bilstein 5160's for the rear, BDS traction bars will be here today. Coachbuilder is dragging on getting shackles back from anodizing and I decided to order heavy 2" lift Dobinson's leaf packs instead. More suited to my needs anyway since I am going to build me a diy decked drawer sytem anyway. Can't really go wrong with drawers of camping gear stored in removable drawers that you can simply pull out and carry if you wish with everything in them. I know it would be handy at many day sites where the site is two hundred feet or so from parking area. Also handy at hotels! Yes, we carry everything! Don't like to spend time in retail markets when getting away, defeats the purpose. Anyway back to the build, the rear bumper and shocks will go on this weekend. Obviously gonna have to wait on the rear springs now. Sucks, but it will be a better end product. For a price of course! Btw, the prewired switch box I got fits perfectly beside and to the front of the shift lever, drivers side of the third cup holder if you will. On the flat spot there. So, if you need switches for auxilliary just ask for photos. This position keeps it all airbag safe and compliant. I have experienced airbags twice in my life folks, they are no joke! Very forceful and very quick. You do not want any foreign objects in their path!! On a good note, both times they prevented injury, so take care of them and give them proper clearance, might save your life too. As for my headache rack and bed rails, the rack hasn't shipped yet and Real Truck and I are having our battles. Previously, I mentioned I was waiting on a promo code for the rear bumper. Finally got the code, placed the order and they didn't honor the discount. Said freight items don't apply. Coupon has no fine print whatsoever either. So we begin to haggle, they think I may cancel orders so immediately send me shipping notifications on traction bars and bumper. Bumper arrives same day, but has a small chip, so I score a $100 discount on that (cha ching). Still waiting on promo code refund. They said late May on traction bars, but they will arrive today, afraid of cancellation is my guess since nearly a grand. However, they gave me a good deal verbally over the phone on my headache rack, so they might drag on that hoping I cancel due to the fact that there is no profit in the deal. It is an ongoing battle with me winning so far. I mean they said nearly two months on my rear bumper, and poof it was here in less than a week and a pencil lead sized chip provided me with a substantial discount too. I have informed the clowns that small claims filing is an option, and sometimes that is enough to receive fair compensation. Curious to see the results with Real Truck. Wish you all well!

Sure its been done, but I like them a lot. 18" Method NV305 bronze +25 offset, 35x12.5 BFG KO2's. They're rubbing (badly) on the plastic at turn, looks like it only needs some trimming/heat gun at the front end so it should be an easy fix. No BMC required. Got the hypertech to correct the speedo next and I think I'm done now for this year.

Edit: The rubbing was on the front only. I fixed it by moving the front fender liner from being mounted outside to the inside. Still getting some rub at full lock on the liner that covers the body mount, it's really mild. I'll hit it with a heat gun and push it back. 35's fit fine with some easy modification.

I hear ya. My Trail edition looks nothing like it did when I bought it back in October. I've added the Toytec complete Aluma series coils with rear shackles, faux Pro grille, Pro headlights, C4 overland front bumper, Rigd mega fit tire swing, 285/75/18 Duratracs, AJT chrome delete in cement, and a bunch of other little do dads.
I'll post a pic first part of next week after the Method's go on. Also switching out my Duratracs to the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's 305/70/18 when they become available at my local Discount Tire.

Oh yeah, I also ordered my Go Fast Camper last week too. So, now to decide on what rear suspension to go with over the current shackles (maybe Icon RXT or Dakar leaf pack).

Method Roosts went on this morning. Not looking like a Trail Edition much anymore, still have the bed boxes though....lol

Clark, just made my sons day. Scrolling and found your mention on the video he posted of us installing the black chrome exhaust tip. He was super excited someone else on Tundras had watched his video!

Long time no see, anyway been busy. Won the war with Realtruck finally. Got the ranch hand on the rear, gave up on Coachbuilder getting shackles shipped, so I ordered Dobinsons heavy leaf packs with plus 2". Also ordered a HD roadmaster active suspension kit to beef it up further. My trailer is heavy! Also ordered a set of UCAs, cancelled my headache rack since they have not shipped it yet. Will build my own and have a much better product anyway. Received BDS traction bar kit, but need to rebuild rear suspension first. Have the Bilstein 5160s ready to rock. My custom headache rack and bed rails will give me the option of a rock solid bed cover if I decide to build it. Got some nice auxillary driving and fog lights on the front ranch hand now. Pics coming soon of those. Gotta aim em in the dark yet. Got greasable shackles and bushings plus a carrier bearing drop coming from iron man. Brake line kit coming from Boss. Just need Dobinsons to ship me some springs! Can't wait to put this truck to the test loaded with real springs, the RAS, and traction bars. Should pull away like a champ with almost zero axle wrap. Springs won't arrive for this weekend so will work on the rack. Maybe UCAs will show up?? Pics for now...Screenshot_2021-04-28-20-52-40.jpg Screenshot_2021-04-28-20-53-01.jpg
Edit: Also got the front drawtite receiver mounted. Pics coming!

Got the Northstar/X2 installed and my Covercraft seat savers arrive Monday after a two month wait. Next is the TRD skid plate in prep for the first oil change.

Painted tow hooks, ready for TRD skid plate install. I debated the red versus black, but I think the red will be a nice pop of color with the red TRD logo.

Fyi, these "tow hooks" are really anchor points for freight delivery of the trucks. If you want a true recovery point, one should be purchased or fabricated to prevent potential injury. That being said, I would not hesitate to use them, however I would use both of them simultaneously by looping a strap to form a triangle and then pull at the apex of said triangle. That and don't stand or let anyone else stand in the lines of force just in case.

    Just things to protect it...
I understand. I drive my Tundra primarily because I’m 6’5” and 295 pounds - full size pickups and SUVs are about all I’m comfortable in...and my Tundra was $10k+ cheaper than a Sequoia. I don’t plan to ever use these hooks if I can help it! Thanks for the advice on how to use them if I had to.

Don't remember if I posted this here, but y'all should get Tufskinz to make you one of these badges to replace the SR5 one

Going to be a fun weekend, SPC adjustable UCAs, Dobinson's HD leaf packs, Ironman greasable shackles and bushings, Bilstein 5160s, BDS recoil traction bars, Roadmaster HD active suspension, brake line relocate, carrier bearing drop, red loctite, red grease, sunshine 75F, classic country tunes and cold Modelo! Not the best pics, but here are some of the front new additions. Yes, that is a piece of industrial grating between my bumper and cross member to keep roadkill out of my radiator. Maybe I will paint it someday, but you can only see it from the ground. 20210505_102724.jpg 20210505_102704_Burst03.jpg

I have read many good thing about Dobinson's, and many negatives about Icon and dakar ome. Do homework, save $$ and headaches. Also a lot of good about Roadmaster active suspenion kits.

That's funny. I had the exact same one made for mine.
