    It's not that we don't have it on the lots, we just want to see it and have the final specs.

    Yep. When it gets closer to actually being 2022 (7 months from now) we will get some answers.

    I can’t imagine that Eaton would suddenly make an Elocker for all the old tundras if it were not going to be an option in the new one.

    I doubt it would make economic sense.

    2022 tundra comes with all camouflage blankets and unskirting in place. The hood doesn't open so you can't see the engine, and you have to sign a waver that says you will not share any information or pictures with anyone

    Crazy is an understatement. My tundra is still the same or slightly more than when i bought it. My tacoma is still around 25-27k somehow

    >>> Since/In Case Toyota Is Watching Us here on this forum, I thought of another edition I'd like. An up & down control on the dash like the 2012 LX-470 wagon to adjust ground clearance, Crewmax with 8-foot bed, an option to convert the fake scoop at the leading edge of the hood to a functioning one, and a brush guard to match the paint color. Hammered Silver to match the Medium Sky Metalllic would be alright.
    >>> Someone was asking about a 4Runner with a V-8. I was at someone's house Friday and they had about a 2006 4Runner with a 4.7L V-8. I didn't know that was an option.

    I just got a survey request from Toyota asking what type of info I'd like to see in a new Tundra brochure.

    I had an 06 4R with the 4.7 and loved it. 200k mikes and all I did was basic maintenance. That motor is bulletproof.

    Well, they didn't explicitly say it was for the 2022, that's my assumption.

    Toyota always loves introducing the new tundra at the Chicago auto show as everybody knows. As of today, Chicago is planning on running our auto show in the middle of July. Someone I know that works at Toyota mention that they are waiting for this announcement to see if they’re going to release information on future models at that show.

    Pretty sure this is where they released the 3rd gen tacoma. And no one knew a thing about it either tell it was released there. Just some mule shots.

    I'm quite sure they'll want as much media there as possible, not have to do an online release like Ford had to do with the F150

    The interior questions mentioned how important you thought the infotainment system was. Maybe they have done something similar to Ram?

    I for one am looking forward to the hybrids with their extended camping options from the battery. Plus better mileage wouldnt hurt.. just sayin

    But I will wait to see how they actually run. Hwy and off roading.. For now I don't want to do all the suspension mods again and chopping so why give up a reliable beast that ive already got for something not yet proven.. Happy to wait

    I like the GM invisible trailer cameras. Hopefully the Tundra does something like that. Also cameras for lane change assist similar to what Kia/Hyundai are doing.

    My point was more that people don't like the size/appearance of the screen and the materials used in the interior of the 2019+ GMs.

    I got your point, just showing there are some nice features that GM uses that Toyota should adopt.
