 Buenos días a todos! Good morning Tundras! It’s Monday again and I have been waiting at the “new and improved DMV” for over an hour now :facepalm:Expected wait time when I virtually checked in “52 min.”... ok what a drag but oh well... Five minutes ago... “congratulations there are only 19 people ahead of you which means only a wait time of 72 minutes”... WTF???!

    Great Monday to y’all!

Good morning Matt! DMV visits are never quick it seems. Last time I had to go I got lucky. They were on number 78, and at the ticket counter was ticket 79. Someone must have left and threw their ticket on the counter. Snatched it up and sat down. When I went up after they called 79, I got a lot of frustrated looks. Thankfully I haven't had to go back since.

Our local AMA/CAA (AAA-equivalent) seems to do a pretty good job. I'm glad we don't have the US-style DMVs here.

Battery shit the bed this AM, jumped it to get to work, shut the truck off and nothing. I thought it would be a good time to upgrade to a AGM battery, no auto store within 5 towns had one. Bought a “cheap” NAPA battery to get me home, but I’m pissed. Now I’m going to wait until this one craps out.

Good evening everyone. My wife just told me we "need" a drone for flyovers of our new property. :D I haven't kept up with drone tech, so I'm asking if any of y'all could recommend a good drone with a great camera. I'm looking for one that's easy to fly, possibly with enough smarts to keep the "pilot" from running it into the ground (if that exists). My wife is going to want to fly it and neither of us have drone experience. I probably have a small advantage because I used to be a heavy gamer when I had more time. I'll probably start a thread on this but wanted to ask y'all first.

I have limited experience - have a Mavic Pro that I think I’ve flown like three times. I just didn’t see any real use for it in my line of work. Make sure you get your certification (free) and register it, or you can get in hot water with FAA.

Yeah, after I posted this I searched for "best drone" and filtered to cameras. The strong consensus is the Mavic 2 Pro or Zoom. Currently they are the same price, and the photo quality for both stills and video of the Pro is amazing. I will be using it to fly over my property, looking for wildlife, etc. I will get my certification to use it for church or other usage, but I won't be turning it into a business. The certification is cheap and simple enough that I like opening my options up for using it more, which helps to justify the cost in my mind.
