Depends what you are trying to do with your truck. Don’t forget custom made from a fab shop as well.

ADD...CBI... RRW... one of them doesn’t belong....

In all seriousness most people on here will recommend c4, I’m partial to demello offroad as that’s what I’m running. Add those two to you list to check out

Light off-road is what your looking for go custom built. Also you can look up SSbuilt on Facebook or Instagram. I believe they have a website now also

I second Demello’s new bumper. I’ve used my winch, scraped a bunch of large rocky obstacles and it has held up very well. The bumper is quite rigid with its intricate reinforcement design.

20201108_122326-01.jpg 20201220_154358-01.jpg I love my C4. I have beat the hell out of it and after a quick rattle can touch up it looks brand new.

    Avoid RRW at all costs.

There is a thread here on the sliders with numerous complaints on build and communication.

I’ve never seen a tundra c4 in person. I’m curious about your shackle mounts. On my wife’s 4runner bumper they are just welded to the skin of the bumper. Is this the case for the tundra c4 as well or is there more reinforcements?

I believe they are reinforced on on the back side. I can check in the morning.

Don't get a Red Steel bumper from FabFour. They look cool but the quality control on them is horrible.

Best would be ARB. It's the only one actually designed to function properly w/airbags.

Best in my book is ARB. Super strong, excellent design and workmanship.

There is no design to functioning correctly with airbags. It’s just required to test in Australia. The airbag function is not in the bumper. It’s an accelerometer based function.

Different strokes for different folks, while the arb is not my cup of tea I feel they do a lot of research and out in a lot of time in there products. I kind of see but them as the Toyota of the aftermarket market if you will... not the flashiest, not the most sought after, hell not the prettiest but I’ve never seen one fail....

ARB is my usual choice but for the Tundra it seems a little bloated and sticks out for the body lines substantially compared to their bumpers on other models.
But that is just a personal aesthetic preference.

C4 is probably my favorite for a full bumper.

Ironman hinted at a Tundra bumper coming soon. They tend to mimic ARB styling so we’ll see what they have to offer.

I don’t really need a full bumper so I am leaning towards the Southern Style Off-road
    Slimline Hybrid bumper

They have crumple zones built into the buumper that have been tested to be dialed in with airbags. There's a lot more to it than you realize.
I think it looks great. I've kept from commenting on your bumpers you keep posting pics of but you opened that book so............
I think yours looks like shit. Different strokes for different folks! Whatever makes the actual owner happy is paramount.

Yes the ACTUAL owner. So not to point fingers at anyone but if your dad is making the payments hopefully he likes whatever bumpers get hung on it too. Totally hypothetical of course.

And I agree. There have been some bumper pics being posted in threads they don't even belong in (lift thread) and yes, not great looking.

    CBI sale is rare.
Go through @Truck Brigade, they’ll beat their price and also have killer shipping cost.

So I’m down to CBI or C4 (not sure what Demello has for 3rd gen). Like the ability to mount lights on top and the non obtrusive bull bar. The two look almost identical

Any differences you guys have noted for better or for worse?

Demello actually posted on there ig that they have too many bumpers in stock and we’re cutting deals to get inventory levels down. Might be a good opportunity to get a deal on one for anyone interested

I had ADD on my Ford. Great quality and I like the removable/customizable panels

*edit: I just looked up their tundra bumpers and they don’t have the same type of panels
