Don’t mean to speak for him, but if they’re coming off a 2020 Platinum they would definitely be LED lows/highs, hope that helps!

I’m fairly certain they have both LED lows and high. They are the stock headlights that come standard on the platinum models.

Ok gotcha. I’m looking to upgrade my 2017 sr5 headlights to LED. What’s the difference in your platinum and the Pros? Sorry for all the questions, still learning about this truck. Only had it a few weeks now. If they are LED, I’d be interested in them.

The main difference is the TRD Pro has blacked out housing. The platinum has more of a chrome look. Like the OP of this thread, I’m getting rid of all the chrome on my truck and this is part of that process.

One thing I can’t speak to is what you would need to do to make the 2020 headlight assembly compatible with your year/model/trim.

Also, check out the original starting post, there is a picture which shows side-by-side the difference in appearance.

Great job with the video. Straight to business and speak intelligently. I’m so sick of YouTube videos with 50 percent pure nonsense.

I went from a regular halogen to an LED so it was a major difference for me. I doubt the blacked out housing makes a noticeable difference in light output compared to the other versions of the LED headlights.

I didn’t notice any light output difference between the Platinum LEDs and the TRD Pro’s, just liked the blacked out look!

Does anyone know if with the led fog lights p/n pt413-42191 you need any resistors or additional harnesses if swapping from halogen stock fogs to these?
    Thanks

New member of the truck club here. I sent to a site that sold these head lamps and saw there was a “TRD Pro” and a “TRD Sport”. Does anyone know if there is a difference between these two?

I bought these Black Led Fog Lights from Ebay last month and they were "plug and play" on my 2020 Tundra; $74.00 including shipping and I've been happy with them, no problems

FYI, you also need a harness from ihacker in order for it to work.

I noticed you use this same modification for your 2014 Toyota Tundra SR5 and I have a 2014 Toyota Tundra Limited and the headlight assy main connector was different from my connector. Did you have to buy a harness to make this work.

The blacked out Pro headlights look great!
If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you sell your original headlights for? Mine have less than 2,500 miles on them, essentially brand new. I’m tempted to make the change, too.

Yes a harness is absolutely required. Once you get the harness its plug and play though, very easy install. iHacker is popular on here for their harness. You can find other harness options on eBay as well.

Can anyone confirm/deny if these are the same as the TRD Pro headlights? If not, what's the difference?

Agreed, those look like the TRD Pros to me. LED lights with the black housing instead of chrome is what I was looking for. I also installed them on my truck:

OK cool. These are the stock headlights on my '20 Limited.
One less thing to spend money on, so I'm good with that.

Can anyone tell me if the 2020 TRD Pro headlights will work with my 2021 Tundra Limited? I'm assuming it will. Just wanted to confirm before I purchase a new set and realize after the fact.
